American Marines Wireless Thermometer SensorUtilizing a radio wave signal, the remote sensor(s) will measure the temperature at the waterproof probe tip and send the information to the PINPOINT Temperature Display Monitor, which will display the temperature in F§ or C§ degrees. The PINPOINT Wireless Thermometer can accept a maximum of 4 remote sensors, thus expanding the monitoring capability to 4 different locations to be displayed on the same PINPOINT Temperature Display Monitor. Given proper care, the PINPOINT Wireless Thermometer Sensor should last a lifetime. Remote sensors can transmit temperature signals as far as 100 feet (30 Meters) to the thermometer in optimum conditions. The monitor and remote sensor are powered by two AAA batteries each. Monitor, sold separately, accepts up to four remote temperature sensors. Pinpoint Wireless Remote Sensor is warranted to be free of defects in material and workmanship for a period of 30 days from date of sale.

The sensors do not last.
I purchased a number of extra sensors for this thermometer and they all broke after a few months. The wireless thermometer is a nice idea if you have fish tanks in a number of locations in your house ( it will track 4). But without good sensors, it's useless. I finally threw it out.

Not really impressed
I ordered a marine pinpoint wireless thermometer with 2 sensors and after about 3 months one quit working and i had it replaced on warranty. No 8 months later one of them quit workng again(i don't know if the one that is not working now was the one i replaced or not) So i dont really recommend this product. When the sensor is working t is accurate but thats about the only good thing about it.

It works, but ...
It needs to be reset every few days, and when it's reset it is difficult to tell which remote is being displayed if using multiple remotes.Not the thing to be used in different parts of a crawl space that are difficult to get to. Works very well and would be ideal in a single remote use application where the remote was easy to get to.
