I purchased this little watercolor paper book so I could take it on the road with me. I thought it would be an easy way to capture a couple watercolor scenes while I travel. I haven’t used it yet, but in conjunction with the water color fillable paint brushes I got I think this will be great with the portable watercolor tray that I have. Looking forward to doing some art while on the road. Paper quality is really good. Size is easy to slip into a bag. Recommend for the price and quality!

I agree with all the good reviews, this is a perfect sized, well absorbent, nice coloured (lightest beige) sketchbook. It's been perfect for watercolour, even for heavy watercolours, no pilling at all so far, enabled colour lifting and repeat layers all without issue. The little pocket in back cover has sort of material sides and fits my colour wheel in nicely, as , even tho the wheel is a bit wider than the pocket, because the pockets sides are soft materialism, it allows for extra give for any papers etc, so things slide in there nicely. All in all I'd definitely buy another one, in fact I'm going to. So highly recommended, as the rest of many of the reviews say, I'll agree and happily recommend it. Ps it's perfectly good for using both sides of the paper no matter what u use on it. I'm almost thru the whole book now and there has been no issues at all. Well chuffed!

I like the pocket watercolour painting pad, it holds the water and paint well indeed.You can lift easily, the pages are cloth made, perfect for drawing, sketching and painting, using any medium.Recommended

Up until today, I would have given this notebook ten out of ten. I've never had such a good notebook for watercolour and is attractively designed and presented. It bends when wet but returns to a flat sheet fairly soon (the landscape, for example). The paper texture produced some nice results when I used a pen on it (the religious sculpture). The only drawback is that the binding/spine is already coming apart (shown by yellow arrows on the photo) and I've only used it for a few days. I'll repair it, as the plus points of this product far outweigh this fault.

Beautiful sketchbook. Comes in its own box, has gorgeous coloured edges and a linen feel to the cover. Paper inside is up to taking a proper watercolour wash. Dream of a sketchbook for a watercolourist.

A great pad for travelling with. Pad, pallet, a couple of water brushes and a pencil and you're all set. Holds water very well and dries pretty flat

I have tried a few different sketchbook over the last couple of years and i find this one to be the best one yet. I am very various in my style: from sceneries in watercolor to architecture in black ink or life drawing with charcoal. This book impresses me as I can work on each page, with whatever medium and as much water or ink I want, without ever seeing a mark on the other side. So happy with it that I just bought one as a gift. Note that the paper is textured so you have to consider that if your specially is precise and thin ink drawing for example.

Really good quality for something quite affordable, feels professional.It's a bit smaller than expected but I don't care I love it, I'd really recommend it for someone on a budget or just wants a sketchbook something like this. 👍
