My son likes ancient weaponry so it was his birthday gift. It looks nice and the quality is good. We were happy with it & he liked it.

If you are interested in this product you will love it. Workmanship is excellent. It is difficult to hang by design. I get great compliments all the time.

I would actually rate it 3.5, if half scoring was allowed.Don’t get me wrong, I really enjoy this armor/swords piece and it goes great with my living room theme. It’s a must for anyone who enjoys medieval art, architecture, and history. When viewed from a distance of 3+ feet away, it looks amazing and very real. I have it mounted on a wall, behind a chair, about a foot above eye level. It mounts easily with two wall anchor screws (not included). Having soft lighting on the piece also seems to enhance it and gives it a better appearance. It’s a good price for a resin replica, considering an authentic metal replica of the same thing would easily be in the 700-800 dollar range. I did expect a little better quality control though.The flaws start to show the closer that you get. It is described as hand painted. True, but the quality control supervisor must’ve fallen asleep and the workers started drinking while painting it. The gold painting on the detailing is not consistent or uniform whatsoever. Half of a small piece of the detailing will have a few strokes of gold and the rest will be an unpainted silver color. Some details appear to have missed the gold brush completely, while others have brush strokes that are too thick. I also noticed several small circular indentations where air bubbles must’ve formed in the resin during the molding process. At the price this is selling for, I expected much better close-up quality.I’ve uploaded 5 photos in the customer photo section for this piece to illustrate what I’ve described in this review. I would recommend this item, but I hope that this review helps other potential buyers realize the positives and negatives of this display piece.

Impressed by the high quality. Paint detail, contrast, and finish between the various colors is very well done. When picking up the items I first noticed that it had some weight to it, NOT cheep light weight plastic. The product has some depth / thickness to it and feels solid. On the back side the color is black. I used a piece of black soft felt tape on the back side of the shield so as to not scratch my wall once the shield is on the wall. There are two key-hole shaped provisions on the back at each upper corner where a drywall screws could be used on the wall for hanging the shied. The head of the dry wall screw would fit into the round part of the provision and then slide down to the thinner part of the provision so as to prevent the shield from falling off of the drywall screw once it is mounted to the wall. This product to me was very well worth it, I purchased two and they both make a great visual display.

The detail on this armor is great. Looks really authentic. A bit pricey but it's consistent with the others like it. We put it up in the vestibule at our gym. The gym is called The Iron Fortress, so it fits right in with the name.

This decorative shield is exactly as it is described, so it totally met our expectations. No, I take that statement back. This item actually EXCEEDED my expectations. I thought with it being made of resin it would probably look plastic/fake. It doesn't. My husband was wanting a shield to hang near his swords and I knew he would not be using it for anything other than a wall decoration so I just couldn't justify spending a couple of hundred dollars (or more) on a nice looking metal one that could function. Had he planned on carrying it anywhere, I might have felt differently but he himself said there was no sense spending that much on something to just hang on the wall. The metal shields meant more for decoration looked so cheesy, like tin really, I didn't want one of them in our home. Once hung on the wall, this looks very believable making it the perfect compromise of my higher standards and my unwillingness to loosen the grip on my wallet. We are both very happy with this purchase.

Item arrived broken, should have been packaged better, item is not solid resin but hollow and fragile.

The product is just as advertised. Very nice quality craftsmanship and detail. The metal is just as advertised. Fast shipping and excellent packaging.

Bello a vedersi e molto ben fatto. Il prezzo poi era sicuramente molto buono quindi tutto ok, a parte l'imballaggio: la scatola era troppo grande e c'erano solo due pezzi di polistirolo a cercare di bloccare il contenuto che invece "sciacquava" abbondantemente all'interno; in quelle condizioni è un vero miracolo che sia arrivato integro, Amazon dovrebbe badare un po meglio a certe cose soprattutto quando si tratta di oggetti così delicati...

Scudo ben rifinito nei dettagli con bei colori anke se la croce risulta più scura rispetto all'annuncio del venditore..per ki ama il genere consiglio anke se il prezzo è leggermente alto per questo articolo..
