Phobya Liquid metal thermal compound, 0.5g

I bought this product to replace the TIM from my delidded 4790k. During rendering my CPU runs an average of 115 watts peak 120 watts, far above the rated stock 88 watts. After 24 hours (of the 48 hour curing period) the cpu runs cooler under full load (4.7ghz @ 1.35v, 2.2vccin, 45 cache ratio, 36 gpu ratio) and my CPU rarely hits 80 degrees C. With IC Diamond i occassionally hit 85c. Upon application onto the CPU Die itself, it seemed to have removed the mirror-like coating of the cpu and left a less shiny yellowish tint die. I wish it came in larger capacity though probably 2.5g. I am wondering what's the difference between this and Coollaboratory Liquid Ultra

Honestly - consider buying a standard thermal compound paste because the 2 or three degrees that thispaste EVENTUALLY cools less than your average paste is absolutely not worth the hazzleof trying to spread liquid compound on your CPU.As a matter of fact you dont spread it at all - but hope it sticks and your cooler sink does the job to spread it.I am healed from this nonsense and will never buy again. Some things should just not be bought.This is one of them.

Great compound, easily the best there is. The only downfall is that for the price you barely get enough for one install. Otherwise, performance is absolutely killer!

i only can say wow, before i used on my gpu, my temps are like 75 or 85 gaming and now i get 58 to 64

I will never use liquid metal again. The stuff ran down my mobo and shorted out my graphics card. I DID NOT use a lot at all, it only took a little bit to rest between the contacts.

This is the real deal.. Just as good as the other brand and it dropped the temps on my delidded 7600k by 19c

Apply a small amount of paste around the top perimeter of the CPU and then lightly apply the liquid metal within the paste barrier so it does not run off onto your motherboard.
