Love this laptop, it feels solid, it’s fast and has a great screen. I had returned my previous 3 month old HP laptop after it crashed (my computer guy said the hard drive burned out,) I found a review online that said that Asus and Toshibahad the lowest 3 year failure rate, so I bought this. It feels solidly built not like the previous laptop. I’m very happy with it, recommend it highly.

I've owned two Toshiba laptops before this resent purchase and both are still in good shape but as most computer equipment they get outdated very quickly. This laptop has everything I want which is touch screen, back lit key board, DVD player and burner, HDMI port, Three USB ports, a 10 key pad, as the hard drive and memory were less in my old lap top this one comes with a 1 TB drive and 12gb of RAM memory. I like that you can turn off the Touch pad by tapping twice on the left corner because this becomes an issue while typing. The only thing missing is an extra USB port as my old lap top had 4 and this one only has three. It looks clean and slim and has been trouble free. My old lap top had the I5 CPU this one came with an I7 CPU. Regarding the OS going from Windows 8.1 to Windows 10 will be interesting but that's Microsoft. On another note the keyboard is one of the best I've used. It has a great feel not like cheap plastic. I type by touch but having the keyboard lit up in the dark is a must have for people like me. I haven't said anything about the Harmen/Kardon speakers as these are not important to me. It's my option that Bose is the best on the market and I use a set of Bose plug in speakers or Wireless using Bluetooth.
