Worked beyond expectation
I've used my Gamecube controller for gaming since 2004, and even been continuing using it with an adapter for dolphin emulation ,those analog thumbsticks were impossible for any other controller to emulate until the PS5 controller came out, and event he PS5 controller is imperfect.MY controller was having a really bad c-stick, rendering playing some games impossible. After buying these and a super cheap screwdriver, I was able to bring my controller back to life. The dolphin controller config showed everything working like it was brand new! I have many more years of gaming with these. Some people also reported some stiffness, which isn't really bad if you're an adult playing, if you're a kid with kid hands, it might be an issue. I never really noticed any stiffness, but I have big strong hands, so I'm the worst person to ask.

Different Potentiometers
Using the GameCube service disc you can measure the potentiometer values. The stock potentiometers operate within -90 to 90, these operate within -128 to 128. I only had to replace a C stick so they worked great for my needs, but I'd be a bit more hesitant to put them into the main thumbstick.

Work Great
My controller had a very mushy worn out stick. I've been using these for a couple of months now and my controller feels much better

gets the job done
even though I had to file down the bottom plastic nubs and bend the anchor pins out the way to get it to fit, the holes for the potentiometer pins and the overall placement is the closest to oem from my experience. i'd say this is especially worth it since i plugged it into my mayflash and wii and they both worked flawlessly. definitely worth the buy if you dont mind doing a little filing and bending.

Not great for SSBM
They work fantastic as stick box replacements, however they're so stiff if you try to dash dance or anything competative melee related it feels like you're playing underwater. Great for any other gamecube game, will update on how these feel when they're super broken intoUpdate 8/20/21Yeah these are not great for ssbm, legit the clear plastic part that holds the stick in place on the y axis snapped on both of them within a month of use... here's to finding better parts

Great for Casual Playing
The stickboxes offered here replace v1 and v2 Gamecube sticks. They're alright for what they are, which is getting a worn out joystick on a controller to work again. If you don't play anything that requires precise, twitchy controls, you'll generally be fine. Though, if you have access to a copy of F-Zero GX, which offers a controller calibration tool, you'll see that these replacement stickboxes do not replicate an original controller 1:1.Using F-Zero GX's calibration tool, the optimal configuration would be a octagon shape. However, the replacement here creates a full square, and has a lot of deadzone before the joystick registers anything (after moving the joystick ~1/4 of the way will finally register something). If the original potentiometers on your Gamecube stick are fine, do not replace them with the new ones that come with these (the ones in the controller already are probably black, but the ones on the replacement are green). I have two controllers, one replaced completely (potentiometers and all), while the other I only replaced the stickbox but kept the original potentiometers. The completely replaced one creates the square shape, while the one with the original potentiometers keep the octagonal shape. So, in short, if you aren't playing competitive Smash, you'll generally be fine.
