This incense burner tackles the biggest problem I've always had when I burn incense. Ashes fly everywhere. Even when I used the wooden, closed, so-called coffin boxes to burning incense, ashes would still fly everywhere, especially when emptying it. But not with this model. The size (length and width) is perfect for catching all the ash that falls off most length sticks. It will hold a lot of ash before needing to be emptied. It is metal so I am not worried about it catching fire either. I actually had one of the wooden, coffin style incense burners catch fire before.Besides being very functional, this incense burner is beautiful. It is a good hefty weight but not so heavy that you don't want to pick it up and empty it. This one is the brown version which is a mixture of medium mocha browns with maybe some swirls of light beige over it it's very beautiful. I also bought the green one, which is a vibrant green with some darker green swirled in.

This is the perfect stick incense burner. It is the only one I can even find in a wider width which makes all the difference since it easily collects and holds the ashes without them blowing or falling outside the holder. It is also extremely attractive and classy looking, like a nice piece of decor. We are older and although we love the smell of incense, we like a little more sophisticated look. The brown is very nice and it is well-made. One small caveat, I ordered 2 and one had a little wobble where the peg legs were a little off. But it was extremely minor and this is still the best incense burner I have found.

This is a nice burner. It is attractive and seems durable, but the main thing is this - I burn incense regularly, and this is the only burner that catches all the ash! Cleanup is now much easier, and the burner can be placed on a nice cloth surface without creating a mess. Don't know why other burners aren't designed with this in mind, but truly most are not. Color is brown/gold. Also, so many others are constructed of wood or other material that burns. I know the risk is slight, but why not use something that can't burn, like this one? Happy to have found it.

Really impressive incense holder! It has a lovely design and it is well constructed to be effective and sturdy. We have dropped it and it didn't break because it is made of recycled aluminum. It is also the only incense holder my husband and I have ever owned that doesn't drop ashes outside of the holder. It is so nice and clean!We highly recommend this product!

I own this incense holder and let me say the reviews for this holder and the green holder were absolutely correct. Every bit of ash is cupped into the holder with plenty of room to spare. It is weighty and pretty (i have the brown), works with my hard wood floors and wood furniture decor perfectly. So sorry to read that it is out of stock as I wanted to purchase another one. Oh well, hopefully it will come back in stock.UPDATE: 10/17/12OH MY, OH MY this is finally back in stock! I'm ordering another one right now!!! Thanks much vendor and Amazon.

Great size & design ~ no ash overfloe

I did my homework before purchasing this item, and 'this' holder is by far the best out there! It arrived on time, looks great, and more importantly it does what it's meant to do.....catches 'ALL' the ash!I love nature, so this sturdy leaf holder looks great in my living room. The hole for the incense stick is perfectly sized and positions perfectly. All in all, i've had many many holders over the years, but never one like this.You won't be disappointed!
