Easy to put together and they look very nice and sturdy

Item came within 2 days--nice compact package 5.5 1bs---they were easy to assemble--they look aesthetically nice-- dollar tree store planter fits the larger planter perfectly--for herbs, is why I chose this planter so as to be able to take the pot out and shelter against elements if needed(often these days)---the scrolls on the side are not necessary to put on, I used a needle nose pliers or jewelry crimper to attach them--My biggest con for this item(and its a big con) is I could not get them to clamp on the railing of any size it just slips over the top off the rail, as there is no hook or vice clamp on the back to catch it on the rail---so what good is a rail planter that slides off the rail even without a pot in it---so I gave it a rating of 3 which could have been much better with a little functional technology--I would have gave it a 10 had they worked, they do look quite nice.--not sending back though , works well for my herbs-------what I did was search the other reviews--and thanks to other reviews I was able to improvise ---the smaller one I used rubber gripper, that seems to work pretty sturdy(I didn't try this on the larger planter)--the larger one I have zip tied on my mini green house--I think the larger could have used another attaching bar in the center--to ease weight--so I'm changing my initial rating from a 3 to a 4--yeah! thanks to reviewers I was able to make this work!

There wasn't any information about whether this would fit over a block wall which is about 5.5 inches wide. So I thought I'd give it a try cus I could always return it. IT FITS OVER A BLOCK WALL FENCE. I'm happy. It's sturdy and happily includes all wing nuts. I assembled it myself and I'm half blind. That is probably the reason I struggled a bit to assemble it. I would buy it again. Note, that the two planters are different sizes. I wish they offered just the larger one - it holds a 6 inch potted plant you buy at home goods stores. The smaller one, will only hold the very small single plant pots. Great quality.

The design of this is fine, but the execution of its manufacturing has much room for improvement. To save space in shipping, the trim was not welded onto the basket, instead they left hooks on it so the trim pieces could be attached by the user. Unfortunately, the hooks were attached at completely different spots and sometimes in positions that make attaching those pieces on the side impossible.The tac welding of the arm pieces is subpar and there are even holes next to the screw on the one I purchased.It holds balance poorly and cannot handle much weight or high winds.

I really like the style of these little window boxes. I ordered two sets because I really only wanted the larger sized ones, but I will use the smaller ones on our deck. I used cup hooks to hang and installed the hanging hardware to keep the bottom from hanging in such a way that the baskets aren’t level. I plan to put light weight silk florals for low maintenance, so I can’t speak to using these for the weight of soil and water. I like the liners that come with the baskets- these will hide the floral stems and foam blocks well. I love the black color and scroll design. Works very well on our box box store shed.

Works great for the railing around my deck. Can’t wait to get them with flowers and vines for summer displays!!

Quality control needs attention. One clip was missing, so we taped it together.

Poor quality. Missing wing nut and screw which I had to replace. Some rungs not soldered on, reducing the strength of the rack. Need to improve quality control.

Love this so pretty. The only problem with these are that they don’t sit perfectly across the railing they aren’t sturdy enough. The screws in the back should have a bracket or something else that criss crosses to keep them in place instead of leaning forward and the decorative fronts don’t stay in unless you clamp them tighter with a vice grip which worked.

I bought four sets to cover the length of my apartment balcony railing. They were one of a very few products that would fit (railing is cement, 5 inches thick), and I have a neighbor on the floor below me who complains about the possibility of things falling - so the clamp system is ideal. They aren't the 'best' quality (I had one piece snap off that's back on via some electrical tape), but the price is fair for what they are. And they do look nice. Now I just need to find plants to go in them, and keep the birds from stealing the coco matting!
