Great Clamp
I love these clamps. The cam action it uses allows you to adjust the clamping pressure. I’ve bought several.

I have several of these and love them
These are a new design and I like them better than the old design. The pads on these appear to be designed they stay onLever ratchets allow you to get huge pressure and much easier and quicker than the traditional screw knobs. If you have some strength issues this will allow you to get a tighter clamp than the screw handle clamps. The only downside to the ratchet clamp is the ability to do fine pressure adjustment like you can with a screw handle clamp. I use these both in shop fabrication and in the field to draw twisted or warped lumber into alignment.

Good Product
The items in this carton were ok except a part was missing off the Jorgensen clamp and not in the carton which doesn't surprise me seeing the bottom of the carton was completely open. the tape had never stuck. 5 small clamps and a file sent in a carton that would have room along with the clamps that would be big enough for a down filled coat. No bubble wrap or other protection except for a small piece of brown paper which served no purpose at all.

excellent clamp
I purchased tow of these a d they arrived in two days. When opening the package I noticed one of the rubber pads was missing on one clamp.I notified Amazon and they set me a replacement overnight no questioned asked. FANTASTIC service. As far as clamps go, I have used one of them and they live up to the quality and performance I would expect from pony.Highly recommend these for quick hold down.

Great clamp!
Well let me say this… You can never… never have enough clamps!! These can really apply some pressure!! Great quality.. these clamps will outlast me.I have multiple of these and they never disappoint.. micro jig.. even plagiarized them with their new match fit clamp:)

This clamp is not like the usual trigger clamps
The handle has a 90 degree movement span, and this moves the mobile jaw maybe 10mm forward. While this means the clamping force is very high, it also means that to take advantage of this force the operator is required to close the two jaws tightly on the material before working the handle. This clamp thus requires two hands to operate properly. If this is a problem, check a different technological approach. Otherwise it is a very good option.

Spine needs teeth added to it to prevent slipping.
Over time these have started slipping. So you'll apply pressure, but the moving jaw will slide down the spine of the clamp & release the pressure. So you clamp something & come back a few hours later and the clamp has fallen off the think you're clamping & it's laying on the floor.

Great for woodworkers with arthritic hands
I just gave away four clamps because the handle you have to turn to tighten the clamp was made of wood. It would have been incredibly difficult to replace the handle since the wood was riveted onto the metal of the clamp. These clamps are great to use— I use all 4 fingers of my hand to squeeze the clamp shut. I had to spend a little time getting proficient in using these clamps— I had to make sure both arms of the clamp were making contact with the wood before I squeezed the trigger of the clamp. For small sized items, these clamps are great.
