Do both sides of the blade have the hollow edges?

Hollow edge refers to the scallops along the blade. These have no relation to sharpening the edge, so you care for your knife just lake any other. This should not be confused with "hollow ground" which is made in a way that creates a thin concave cutting edge. These knives are also sharpened the same way.

Does this knife rust? One customer says it did.

I got this knife for my son for Christmas in 2021. He was using it on Christmas Day in 2022. I asked him if he likes it. He said it’s great. It doesn’t have any rust. It’s stored in a knife block.
