Good, nothing special
The elastic is quite firm and can occasionally fray at the bottom where it ties to the ball but as there is a lot of elastic it doesn't matter as you can just cut that bit of ant re-tie it to the ball.As for the ball itself, well it is just a standard tennis ball, but overtime depending on how much or how hard you use it it can crack and split down the middle this isn't a huge problem as it is still useable as the felt covering will keep it together but that might be something to bear in mind if you are a hard hitter! The connection between the ball and the elastic is just a small loop that goes underneath the felt covering. the material used is a quite strong rope type substance and should last a long time. However if this gets used too much the connection can also fray and snap (i suppose that is why it comes in a pack of two).So just be warned this product will not last forever and will need replacing between 3-12 months (per ball) depending on how much you use it. But with all that said this is a good product and can really help beginners with their boxing skills and technique. Would recommend!

Poor quality
After approx 2 hours of play the ball had completely split and just held together by the outer fuzz. Also the elastic was so weak it was difficult to judge the ball position when playing. Certainly would not buy again.

Didn’t last long
We tried to use for swingball but we must have been hitting it too hard and it broke quite quickly.

Not suited for swing ball replacement!
Bought it to replace for swing ball, but it didn’t last as the ball attachment tie string wasn’t strong enough.

String too long and too stretchy.
Waste of money. My kids have stopped playing because this ball and string just don’t work like the original

Poor lasted about 10 hits.

nope, all broken after a week
didn't want to buy a whole new swingball but these are unplayable as firstly on elastic which ruins the game but second they just broke more or less immediately. honestly, you try and do the right thing for the environment...but this was rubbish

Good balls
I'm sure these would have worked perfectly for their intended purpose, however, I had a different idea in mind when I ordered these. I park 2 cars in a smallish garage. I used these to hang from my garage ceiling so I could see where to stop when I back into my garage. Works PERFECTLY!

Works awesome as a garage hanging tennis ball.
I actually use this as the old "I am not spatially intelligent enough to park my car without smashing into the wall" device that hangs from the garage ceiling. For that, it will work divinely. Cheaper than the authentic hanging balls for the garage as well.As far as you tennis players who are looking to improve their game? Yeah, I bet this is great at that too. Good luck.

Tennis ball on a string, what could go wrong?
Update.Good news. The company read this review and graciously sent me a replacement set. I can't complain about that! At the end of the day, it is a tennis ball on a string. It works, I guess. thank you. This lasted about three minutes before I parked it. The string in the ball that the elastic was tied to broke, and well, it just kept going. It had just one job...Lame. Boo. Now it's just a dumb tennis ball.

NOT a correct replacement for tether ball
The ball is in an elastic type band NOT a string replacement band. When you hit the ball it bounces all over the place. This does NOT work as a replacement with a regular tether ball game.
