Good book
It is difficult at best to introduce a person to programming through a book. The author shows considerable maturity in how the topics are separated out: a brief introduction, a high-level overview, then breaking down each facet of programming structure (decision blocks, looping, arrays, file handling), all at an introductory level. The author then introduces file handling (files and directories), then three chapters on object-oriented programming, a high-level introduction to Unified Modeling Language (UML), then introduction to relational databases.Does this cover everything about programming? NO.
