Great Sandals But Be Sure To Avoid Puddles/Potential Urine/anything wet
Truly, I Love the look and feel of these sandals. They are not coarse or scratchy nor do they hurt your ankles or feet. Better than expected and definitely comfortable. The one downside is the second they get wet, the material absorbs what seems like 100% of the moisture around you and your feet will essentially get soaked within just a few seconds. This isn't so bad with water on a hot day or something like that but if you're walking around a music festival, hear the call of nature, and visit the port-a-potty then you can imagine why super absorbent sandals are not a super great idea and also why the potential for these being the filthiest sandals you own is a very real possibility. They also take a very long time to dry through conventional means. Either way I image the fix is as simple as adding some clear hydrophobic spray to the sandals and the issue should get resolved but seriously keep these out of the "wet" if you enjoy having dry feet. Even with that issue I still love these sandals and would buy them again. Edit After Most Recent Usage: These are also not good to use near a camp fire or open flame at all. A few pops from my fire almost set my feet on fire and essentially melted huge portions of this shoe

Super cute shoes!
Super cute but mine were too small. My foot size is a 9 when I get tennis shoes but in sandals my foot is smallish for some odd reason so I normally get an 8 - 8 1/2..Well to be on the safe side I ordered an 8 (doesn't run in half sizes) despite what other reviews told me about the shoe fitting smaller and sure enough it was too small. I thought if I could get my foot into it (with a struggle) I could deal with it and maybe they would stretch out but once I had it on it was just way too tight for my comfort level..so I suggest getting at least you're normal size and if you're having any doubts go a size bigger! But FYI I did send them back and am getting a bigger size! 😊So I just got my shoes in the bigger and and they fit perfect.I'm happy to have them so I can wear them now.Just wanted to say on the sellers part they were very attentive with my return and sending me the bigger size I needed and kept me informed and replied to my email in a timely manner! Thanks!!!

Finally, a Good Fit.
I just bought another pair of these rope sandals, which I wear for slippers, in the warmer weather. The previous pairs I had, were size 12, because I was unaware that they came larger. Well, besides being just a tad short for me, they were too wide as well, being made for "average" men's feet, which are D width. My feet are very narrow. I wear a size 13B, in shoes, as that's the narrowest I can find. My feet are actually A width, but that pretty much means custom shoes, and I really can't afford that. At any rate, these new sandals I just got, are not only size 13, but are actually narrow enough that they fit me very well, and I couldn't be happier. They will stretch out some with wear, but shrink up again, when I wash & dry them. I can't say that everyone will get the narrow version, but I'm certainly happy that I did.

nice, BUT skinny vertically
The length is fine, but the depth of the sandal from top of foot downward is slim. My brother had to squinch to scoot his foot into it, and he said it would cut into his foot to walk on it. Even I had to squeeze to fit my smaller foot into the shoe. (I wear a women's 9, and this is a men's 13.) Maybe it's because we have high arches? I've never noticed other people's foot shape before but maybe having a high arch makes for a "taller" foot? It's a very nice shoe and my brother was sad he needs to return it. The seller was kind, but I knew exchanging for a 14 wouldn't solve the fit problem since it didn't feel deep enough even for my foot.

Love the black and tans!
Love the look of the mixed black and tan! I usually wear a size 11 1/2 so I bought 12.They are long enough but are somewhat tight. At first they feel binding but after a while they were great! Maybe the rum helped!! I tried an experiment and so far it is working. I sprayed the bottoms with several coats of a spray rubberized coating of a flex seal product. It reduced the slipperyness and gave them some added water protection. So far so good!!

Perfect Sandals!
Oh. My. Lands. I love these shoes so much! I bought them for my guy friend. I previously got a different style for him, but they looked girly. This is what he said about them: These are the perfect JC sandals. I got them in Tan. There's no arch support, they have the arch support of a flip-flop. However, it's great and they're surprisingly warm. If you have thick feet around the ball of your feet (1.5"+) then they could fit a little snug. I just got them though, so they may loosen up. I'll update this later.

nice shoes
My wife really loves these shoes. They are very comfortable and lightweight. She had a slight problem with one of the shoes where one of therope portions became unraveled. She contacted the vendor and without any issues or hesitation they sent her a new pair and she still is loving the shoes. As a mater-of-fact she bought a pair for her god daughter.

A tad snug at first, but loosen up after ...
A tad snug at first, but loosen up after wearing a while. They are very light and if they fit you correctly you may forget you have them on. My only complaint is that they really stink after getting wet. I had to spray Febreze on them. I assume it is the material they are made of or mold/mildew that develops between the fibers.
