AirTies Air 4920 SmartMesh 2.4GHz & 5GHz Wi-Fi Extender (Pack of 1)

I ordered two of these as extenders to boost the wifi signal from the BGW 210 gateway to two dead spots in my house (on opposite ends). They were very easy to install following the instructions provided with the unit. Unlike one of the other reviews, after I paired them (one at a time) with the BGW 210 gateway using the WPS buttons, both of them appeared in my AT&T SmartHome app (as airi but I renamed them after I installed each one so I would know which is which). Also, if you are only using these as extenders (my use), unlike one of the other reviews, you do not have to buy two of these--one which is hard connected to the gateway using an ethernet cable and one that is remote on Wifi only. You can install one or more of these remotely using wifi only--you do not need to hard connect one to the gateway with an ethernet cable. I hope this helps.

The numbers on the bottom that should coincide if they were paired as a unit are completely different, the WPS button is stuck in (came in damaged) the wont connect (because of it being damaged) no body will return an email/phone call. A buddy had a set of the Airi brand that is similar to this and its working great , now I need to get my refund so i can some else where.

Unit is supposedly connected to wifi, but not displayed on my app for ATT. So I cannot confirm or Deny that it is actually supporting and transmitting Wi-Fi signal to anything within my house. I can see why Att has stopped selling these directly from them ! After hours of being transferred within departments at Att, I finally got on phone with a tech support at that shared that the unit is register within the network - but they, just like me cannot see it via the smart home app ! After reading the reviews here, you’ll see the same commentaries of unit not “working” based on the smart home app. Installation was far from easy - took five times to literally get rid of the red flashing lights from the front of the extender. At this point they are both green - so the assumption is that it’s on - but I surly have no clue if that’s true; what’s even more hysterical is that Att can’t either ! So it’s your guess if you should buy this thing !

Worked great for a while, but eventually stopped connecting to my router. Luckily I was able to return it.

These are easy to install. I know it works with AT&T and Frontier services. Perfect for a large home.

Would recommend this product, have a large house shaped like a large z.Used two for great room and office. This last one is for my attached garage/ mancave. No complaints, handled all my needs.
