How is this different to a Ziploc (or similar) bag that is available for a few cents each? Is the plastic thicker or the closure different?

I have not tried to write on the loksak, I use it for my iPhone

They make the "op sac " which stands for odor proof , there green at the top , those are the odor proof ones.
