I am making fabric face masks...8 x 8, pleated, with casings on the sides. The casings allow me to make any type of tie I want to make...42” single tie, two 36” ties, or two 12” ear loops.I use these beads to make the ear loops adjustable when paired with 1” teeshirt yarn. They are perfect for that purpose. I use nylon thread/thin fish line to pull the teeshirt yarn through the bead, and there’s still enough drag that the bead will keep the ear loop in place after the wearer adjusts it.Highly recommended for this purpose.

I did not dislike anything about them. I used them for pictures. The Marvin the martian took 945 beads the Dragon took 1023 and the Seahawk took 1131 beads. I suggest if you are going to do bigger patterns I would get the 1000 pack of each color instead of the variety packs. You will find out that you will go through them pretty quickly and they are not that expensive.

I use these for cord stops on my home made face masks. I use two on each elastic ear loop. One works as an adjuster and the other as a cord stop. Fits the 1/4" elastic perfectly.

I was expecting a darker purple due to the color shown on my 3 different computer screens. It is not a dark purple, they are more of a lavander purple, compare the pic on Amazon to mine, you will see what I mean. I of course will keep them as it is not worth it to return them and go thru the whole return thingy, but it was disappointing :(

First and foremost they advertised these beads completely wrong. The people who are commenting on this are using this for other things other than hair. I wanted this for my hair and they stated that it was big or large ones and it's not. They are very tiny. The hole isn't as big as they stated it was. They are falsifying what they are saying in order to get sales. And when I got the beads and after I requested my refund because they weren't what I expected, I later on discover that they are defective. The bag was open beads spilled out and now I have to send back this false advertised, tiny, and defective bag of stupid beads during this time and issue we are having in the world. I wanted to get these beads and do my hair not get them and have to send them back. SUPER DISAPPOINTED AND PISSED OFF.

I am a kindergarten educator and purchased these to make Mathematics resources for my class and department. I use the beads strung on elastic attached to laminated boards (my own creation) to teach number bonds. It serves my purpose perfectly. The bulk pack is cost-effective for my needs. The ease with which the beads slide along the elastic really helps the students to understand the concepts as I teach. Their little fingers are able to easily manipulate the beads as the holes are large enought. I will continue to purchase these every year for all my classes and department. Thank your for a great well-made product. Keep the supply running!

The colors that arrived aren’t as shown— either the picture is desaturated or the beads are not as pictured— the orange is neon, the pink hot, the purple pale neon, the green teal, the dark blue royal/navy. The light blue is blue, the yellow red and clear standard/as expected. It’s not a bad selection, I just wanted a mix of standard colors as I had no use for extremes and pinks and more than half are the extremes and pinks of other variety pack listings for this brand. I feel it’s a misrepresentation not to know :).

I go through a lot of beads for crafting. Although these beads many not be of the highest quality, the hold up well, and this is the brand I prefer to buy. I have ordered the same brand, size, and color and on a few occasions the beads have been different shades, and o a few times different textures. What i have found ia that Darice is made in the USA as well as China, and on these occacions that has been the difference. Like all mass produced items, you will have some beads without a hole, not cut correctly, with a jagged edge or two, and some may even be broken. All mass produce products have this potential. For the price these pony beads are the best i have come across. I have no complaints. They hold up well, are glossy, and the color is pretty true to picture. I would recommend these beads to anyone. Great value.
