SuperTooth Visor One Bluetooth Handsfree Car Kit - Black

I was forced to buy a replacement headset after one of our pups managed to chew the mic end off my old one! As I was off out and needed one to stay legal I popped into Tesco and bought a Nokia BH108. Word of warning - pile of poo!After 20 mins made my ear ache and couldn't use it anymore so had to find another solution; wasn't very loud either.Hence my buying the Visor One. I was slightly concerned about comments made regarding the ambient noise with remote H/F devices but with Amazon's excellent returns policy I wasn't scared to give it a try.Out of the box it is a nice modern design with easy to reach buttons fitted along the edge. Mic on the front along with a speaker and Bluetooth connection telltale LED. Easy to follow instruction book although print is rather tiny for me.Paired to my HTC Desire S immediately and was able to use it straight away as it had charge in it.Goes into sleep mode as you leave the vehicle and wakes straight up again when it detects your phone is nearby. Quoted standby is incredible and I have no reason to doubt this as everything else has been as described.Does exactly as it says on the tin and sound quality is very good. Don't be concerned too much about the previously mentioned background noise, I used it in my Sprinter van at 70mph and could both hear and be heard with no problem what so ever!What more does the considerate driver need than one of these to stay legal.The only thing missing is a mains charger but with the ability to charge from USB it's certainly not a particular minus point.10 out of 10 Supertooth.

This device works perfectly well to make and receive calls and as such is fine but... The clip which holds it to the visor has the annoying habit of becoming detached from the device when you try and attach it to the visor. I have found no way to rectify this easily but with a bit of care it can be attached and you can get on your way. A slight let down for what is otherwise a useful tool.

Set up device and leave it!Marks left on sun visor from clip - I cant get it out.Overall this is a very good product, let down by a few niggles that I am sure will be developed in future - if the manufacturers read any feedback!

I bought this to pair with an iPhone 3GS. Pairing the device was trouble free, and during calls I could hear the caller loud and clear. However everyone I have spoken to when using this device says that my voice cuts out, sounds distant and it is very difficult for them to hear what I'm saying. I drive a Coupé and when mounted onto the sunvisor the mic on the device is only 4-5 inches from my mouth, so I'm pretty disapointed with the performance. I've tried putting it in various positions in the car but none seem to improve matters. In fact, the best result I got was to mount the thing upside down on the visor so that mic is pointing towards the ceiling!?, but callers then tell me there's an annoying echo whenever they speak back (despite the DSP echo cancellation feature). Consequently it's going back for a refund.

This is my second one of these as I wanted the same in both our car and van. Great unit for the price, obviously useful for phone calls and bondig two phones is great to cover off work and personal mobiles but I really like it for its AD2P that allows me to have Tom Tom instructions on my iPhone coming out through this unit and not just the built in phone speaker. This makes hearing the instructions much easier. For the price you cant knock it!

I bought two of these handsfree car kits, one for myself and one for my husband. We are both taxi drivers and use a mobile a fair bit. I found this really easy to use and hooking up to my iphone was a doddle. The only problems we've had with this product is that on the odd occasion the person on the other end of the phone can't hear us properly, it comes through scrambled. I've also turned off the voice activated answer feature, it was answering calls with people talking in the background of the car. I much prefer to use the controls on the unit, saves answering unwanted calls. I like the fact that it's easy to slide it out of the sunvisor clip, it means you can leave the clip in place. I don't think it would take much for it to snap. I've never had this type of handsfree kit before, it's really useful.

I ordered this product through what i believed to be Amazon. Unfortunately, it was Amazon marketplace which i actually ordered it and the product was sent from a company called My Memory. When i received this product it was extremely poor and you can hardly hear what the person is saying when you are driving. I therefore arranged to send it back via Amazon and was given the link to the My Memory website. I sent it back for a refund but after a week they returned it back to me with no explanation or note. Im having to now file a complaint with Amazon who will hopefully reimburse me but im not sure i hold out much hope.Dont waste your money on this product.

Nachdem ich schon den Vorgänger eingesetzt habe wurde dieses Gerät angeschafft, da es 2 Telefone gleichzeitig verbinden kann. Die einfache und schnelle Installation war auch mit dem etwas dürftigen Handbuch schnell gemacht.Der Betrieb überzeugte dann doch sehr. Das Gerät verbindet schnell und sicher 2 Handys per Bluetooth und auch die Verständlichkeit der Anrufer ist sehr überzeugend. Hatte vorher ein Gerät der Firma Bluetrek, dass in diesem Punkt total enttäuschte. Auch das Gemecker auf der Gegenseite nahm rapide ab, so dass ich von einer ausreichenden Verständlichkeit auf der anderen Seite ausgehen kann.Das Gerät sitzt gut an der Sonnenblende, wenn diese aber runtergeklappt wird ist das Mikro an der falschen Seite. Dann müsste das Gerät umgedreht werden, während der Fahrt natürlich nicht praktikabel, das war beim Vorgänger mit dem beweglichen Arm besser gelöst.Ebenso dauert das Ausschalten etwas lang. Auch hier war die Steuerung mit dem Mikrofonarm besser beim Vorgänger besser gelöst.Die eingebaute Sprachsteuerung zum Annehmen von Anrufen habe ich leider nicht in Betrieb setzen können.Das Managment der beiden Handys ist allerdings sehr gut. Preis Leistung meines Erachtens hervorragend.Daher 5 Sterne.

La verdad es que el aparatejo es bastante grande para lo que se espera de un manos libres pero eso si tb se escucha mejor y tiene muy buena autonomia . Incluso se puede usar para escuchar la musica que tengamos en nuestro telefono .

Ich habe dieses Gerät ausführlich getestet.Pro :- absolut ausreichende Lautstärke und Sprachqualität. klar und verständlich- einfache Bedienung, unterstützt durch Kontrol-Lämpchen- stellt bei Annäherung wieder AUTOMATISCH die Verbindung zum Handy her- sehr guter LAUTSPRECHER- Musikdateien vom Handy werden über das Gerät abgespielt, wobei der KLANG wesentlich besser ist als über den Handy-LautsprecherContra :- oftmals wurde die Lautstärke bei meinen Gesprächspartnern als zu LEISE und teilweise auch als nicht gut verständlich geschildert (kann natürlich auch an meinem Samsung Jet S 8000 liegen bzw. an der Funkverbindung)Ansonsten ein zu empfehlendes Freisprechgerät, auch zu dem Preis.Wer es gut und preiswert haben will, nimmt ein B-Speech Prim.Das benutze ich jetzt. Einfaches Gerät aber sehr gute Sprachverständigung.
