Risk board game
I really enjoy this game, the board is in excellent condition as is the cards. All the pieces are there and in good shape. The only thing that I have against the game is the playing pieces are hard to tell apart. I wish they were the horses, canons, and the soliders. Other than that it is a great game. I reccomend this seller to anyone

Very good version of the classic game Risk
Risk has always been one of the best and funnest games on the market. I went to Toys 'R Us the other day though, and they've changed it all to hell. They "updated" the classic map, but that seems like a mistake to me. Risk isn't about being super accurate, war isn't little plastic pieces and dice, it's super simplified, so why change the classic look and feel? Why would I want to play a version of Risk that didn't have Kamchatka as a major strategic territory? Then my armies will move over to Yakutsk and Irkutsk dammit! Besides, the classic map is beautiful and well designed. From reading the box of the new Risk, it also seems they've changed a number of the rules, probably to make it more appealing to the video game generation. But why mess with perfection? Risk doesn't need anything. So I came online to find an older version of the game, this 1975 edition is a nice one. The pieces look good and their caltrop-like design makes them very easy to pick up and move. All the classic elements are here. The packaging looks great, although mine was a little worn. Only complaint is that the army pieces represent totals of 1 or 10, there is no 5, and there are not that many of the 10s, so towards the end of the game, you have great messes of pieces on your territories. Just a minor complaint, the game still worked fine. Don't go buy the new, ruined, version, get the classic game you've known and loved.

1980 Risk
I grew up with this version of Risk, with plastic Roman Numerals for armies. I always liked that it has I, III, V, and X. When I saw this for sale, I snapped it up, and am very pleased! The box had a little wear, but the cards and armies were still in plastic wrap, and the instructions and dice were brand new! Any version of Risk is good, but this to me is the best version ever!

Basic Fun
The Risk game I had ordered was not the one I had in mind. I had seen the pictures of the risk game with the wooden pieces and that is the one we had growing up. When it arrived in the mail I was initially disappointed however I gave it to my twelve year old son anyway. He loved it. I know we willl be playing again soon.
