lightweight sturdy fabricEas
Easy to put on. Hold it up in front of you with the back facing you. Stick your head in the hole in the middle and your arms through the side openings and it's on. Lightweight fabric but somewhat water resistant. I bought it to do dishes and for cooking. I am buying another one to use in my art studio. I washed it in the machine and hung it up while damp. There were minimal wrinkles. It had an odd smell when I opened the package but the smell was gone when I washed it. I bought green.

Comfortable
The apron is very comfortable to wear - I often forget I am wearing it. I have a bit of a tummy, and some aprons just make that super obvious, but this one doesn't. The pockets are a great size and are in the perfect location for me. I'll be purchasing more colors.

It's a biggie!
I ordered this in the 'black green' color, which is really a dark forest green. It does wrinkle when washed, but not bad enough to force me to iron it. I wore it during a wedding rehearsal dinner while creating a painting for the B&G that all the guests helped with. I was pretty sure I'd be covered in paint by the end of the night (open bar). It worked great and the pockets are a plus, for sure. This will probably fit anybody, but slim/petite folk will swim in it. I'm a size 16 and busty, and had full coverage, even in the back.

Easiest apron style ever
Apron is comfortable and you don't have to adjust slipping straps or retie the strings. It has ample room, even around broad hips. Wish I bought this style years ago.

Very Comfy and Effective
I use this apron when doing pottery. I find traditional tie-in-the-back aprons very uncomfortable the way they hang on your neck. This one is so comfortable I forget I'm wearing it. The fabric is just the right weight for protection AND breathability, and it provides better coverage than other aprons I've had (I'm 5'9" and wear a 2X). It's also a good length and has a slit in the front that comes in quite handy when I'm throwing on the wheel. The only negatives (not worth shaving off a star): the light blue I ordered is more like a sage green, and it needs to be hung to dry or ironed because it comes out of the dryer hopelessly wrinkled with shriveled straps. I will be ordering another for cooking.

Great back crossed Japanese apron
I hate aprons that tie around your neck. They constantly pull down and end up hurting and giving me a headache. Cobblers aprons are much better but usually have those fiddly strings at the side that NEVER stay tied. This apron is fantastic! It’s a little tricky to get on but once you get the hang of it, it’s easy peasy. I’ve washed it in warm water with no ill effects. I don’t put it in the dryer though. I hang it out to dry.I’m a little shy of 5’3” the apron hits me at right above the knee.I now have a collection of 10 aprons distributed between two houses. I realize now that I am an utterly sloppy cook. In the past I would spend about 10-15 minutes of pre-laundry time spot-treating my clothes. I sometimes missed spots and would have to rewash. I know that all that spot treating wore my clothes out faster. Now I spend three minutes spot treating the aprons secure in the knowledge that my clothes are fine because I ALWAYS wear the aprons.I can do that because they never pull at the back of my neck like regular aprons do. The apron fabric is sturdy enough for very frequent washing.

Great fit
Exactly what I was looking for coverage when doing paint pouring.

Perfect for pottery
I am 5'3" and this covers my body well while sitting down to do pottery. The cross back makes it easy to slip on and off.
