I am 65 and I play softball. About 8 months ago, I had a minor tear/stretched ligament on my right knee. I looked in my drawer for my ‘stretchy’ knee support braces but my knee still hurt. I bought this on Amazon, it holds my knee steady when I play, my right knee is about 95% back to normal now (after 8 months). I’ve been thinking about getting one for my left knee (as I am getting older) but always put it off. Well guess what? Last week I stretched my left knee, the next day as I limped around the house I decided to get a brace for the other side. (Duh! Too late)My product review:Pros: It works! My knees feel solid and stable when I am wearing it. I have no fear of my knee buckling when I am playing.Cons: 1) It is heavier than the ‘stretchy’ knee braces that I have used. 2) If not placed right, the Velcro will pinch the back of the knee. I either adjust the Velcro until I find the right spot, or I wear my stretchy brace and place this one over. This works for me.Conclusion: It works! It keeps my knees stable! I LOVE it! First off - I am not a bot. I am a bonified Amazon customer. I was not paid for this review and don't believe these reviews SHOULD be paid. Makes it hard to trust what your reading. So trust this....for the money this brace is a life saver! I tore my meniscus a little less then a week ago and currently on crutches, none weight bearing. Doc couldn't provide a brace because they had no stock. Amazon to the rescue! I ordered on Thursday night and had it Friday morning by 6am!!! IMPRESSED! The brace is made well, provides excellent stability and compression and in my opinion is just as good if not better then braces provided medically. If you need a brace, BUY THIS! You won't be disappointed! My only suggestion is if you have sensative skin (like me) put the brace on over your sweats, jeans, leggings, etc. Keeps the rubber non-slip strips away from your skin. I was recently diagnosed with Patellofemoral Pain Syndrome. Most common in women. It feels like your knee is going to give out. Not really painful but a little jolting when your walking and all of a sudden I get that feeling of my knee giving out. It doesn't but I get a weird feeling. My Dr. said to do some muscle strengthening exercises and wear a brace when doing a lot of walking. I happen to already have this brace and showed it to my Dr and she thought it was perfect because of the hole for the knee cap to get more support. So had been wearing this brace for 5 days. This is a really good brace with 3 straps that really hold your leg in place. When I was walking with this brace I had no feelings of my knee giving out, but I did feel very stiff when I first got up to walk around when wearing this in a sitting position for even 5 minutes. Is it too tight? I loosened it up and still had the same issues. But like I said when I was walking or going "up" stairs I had great support. Coming down stairs I had issues. My leg hurt, and I felt unstable walking down stairs with this brace. Fortunately when I ordered this brace I also ordered a lighter brace. After 5 days of this heavy brace I have been wearing the lighter brace for 2 days and actually feel a lot better. My injury does better with the lighter bracer than with this heavy duty brace. I purchased an XL based on size chart and it was a little too big, bunched at bottom when straps were tightened. Fabric looks and smells like neoprene, which I'm allergic to. The large flaps in back that need to be wrapped first are hard to do alone especially if your knee is hurting and you have arthritis in your thumbs. Also there is exposed velcro on back so if you sit on a fabric chair or sofa you will get stuck and ruin your furniture. Now that being said once on the brace offered good support and was not uncomfortable to wear. It did get hot under it. I think the design could be improved by bringing the large flaps so that they wrap in front and making it easier. I did return mine. I will continue to use my NEENCA compression brace with side supports. It works well.

I sort of consider myself an expert on knee braces, certainly I have about 20 years experience wearing them, each one more serious than the last.This is the very best, most supportive and comfortable one of the lot.It comes down to the adjustable straps that one can tighten up as tight as needed to keep all the knee bits in place. These straps are lacking in all other hinged braces I have tried.They all have hinges, which I remove the inside one as I find they make my knee hurt worse. One might ask then, Why not just use one of the elastic bands? Because, they're exactly that; elastic bands; even other hinged braces, which offer insufficient support, at least for me because they stretch and support relaxes.I need the Straps so I can tighten up that puppy and WORK, confident that my disintegrating knee won't collapse on me because the brace has relaxed.

Love this brace. I have a torn meniscus (more minor tear) that I chose not to have surgically corrected. I wear this 4-5x a week to play softball and feel very secure running. When I don't have this on, my knee often feels unstable and will 'slip' backwards randomly. I never experience that with this brace. I've had it for a year. One of the plastic handles for the strap broke (because I was stretch and bent it too far - not a fault of the brace), but I'm still able to use it because that is how sturdy the straps are. 10/10 would recommend for mild/moderate support.

It took me awhile to get it adjusted 'just so'. The NEENCA knee brace does just what I needed - it does not let my knee slip sideways; it holds my knee in place with no pain. I have very little cartilage in my knee and with this brace I feel secure in walking.

I purchased this knee brace so I can have some knee support after a knee injury I got playing soccer. I was diagnosed with a meniscus injury and experienced pain with leg exercises. My physio therapist suggested a knee brace to redistribute support around my knee and tried to sold me one. Wanting a spare, I found this Neenca knee brace on amazon at a fraction of the cost. I wear it during exercise and while it doesn't cure my knee, it does provide the much needed support my knee requires. The knee brace is soft and comfortable, all sharp velcro is completely on the outside so it doesn't touch your skin. Some adjusting of the straps is needed every time you put ton the brace to ensure support around the needed areas are balanced. It does stay in place during exercise. Moreover, it is not very thick and can fit under clothing. This brace has provided me with benefits and I would recommend it.

I have a meniscus tear, arthritis a drained baker cyst and healing ligaments. Yes, I did all that playing soccer and yes in one knee. I have several different knee braces, some just sleeves others are big and bulky making it difficult to move. I just both 2 of these braces accidentally, 2 different brands. 1 from neenca and the other from techware. The neenca was amazing and stayed in place. The techware kind of loosened in places but excellent support cause I just finished a game of pickelball and felt zero pain. I'm impressed and I have soccer games still, can't wait to try this on the soccer field. Thank God I am very happy with the neenca brace

I found the patella opening helpful as it doesn't compress your knee painfully. I walk 10000 steps in a day at work & this definitely helped with stability and lessening pain. Buy it now!
