These are the first lanyards I have bought that actually work long-term. They slip onto the end of your eyeglass frame and not through the lanyard. Thus they do not move around with the back and forth of taking your glasses on and off, gravity and other movement-caused actions that wear down the connector material that holds your frame on the the through the lanyard type. These end connector lanyards have no movement once they are fixed in place. So they won't wear out through that mechanism. You won't be constantly adjusting where the through the lanyard types are located on your frames. These lanyards go on easy and come off with a powerful pull (meaning they will stay connected to your frames unless you pull directly on part of the lanyard part that connects to your frames). You cannot go wrong with these and they will probably last the rest of your life (or close to it).

O-ring has released the arm of the glasses, and there was no damage to the straps, which is awesome.I have not had the ends of the straps slip off as of yet and I wear these 2/3 of the dayI can highly recommend this product and I plan on getting another set for safety and always have on hand. We live in sunny and hot Southwest Florida. Having proper eye protection during the day is critical to your long-term eye health. Not only that but my eyes have changed as I've aged and I need reading glasses to see anything up close. Finding a way to keep both pairs of glasses close and handy became very important to me. Both are leather, both have adjustable rubber clips to fasten to the bows of the eyeglasses, and both can be adjusted to fit just about any type of eyeglass bow. These are both versatile because the design of the rubber clips allows you to fasten them to most types of eyeglass bows. The type of holder that has hollow cloth (or rubber) ends lets the glasses slip out of the holders and fall off. Nice touch that. My only concern is that the leather straps (26" long) are flat and made of raw leather. That can be a problem in hot climates as raw leather (think leather watch bands) can absorb sweat and begin smelling a bit funky.Overall though it's nice to have three different colors and know that they are well-made. They also have a bead in the center of the strap to allow you to tailor the length to whatever you are comfortable with. Made in China but well executed.

I use these on my sunglasses, which I remove frequently to take photos while on walks and hikes. I had Croakies, but they are pretty short (20") and so lowered glasses ride high on my chest. They are extra-tight if lowered over a winter jacket. I couldn't find Croakies that were longer. These are 24" so I get another 2" clearance so my chin won't bump them when I turn my head. Your use case may be different, but some people would find the extra length desirable. The 3-pack is also nice.Note that I mentioned measurements. Buying this was a guess - they looked longer. But most of these products do not mention the length at all, including this one.

Very pleased with the design concept of these eyeglass retainers. However, be aware that the little rubber band with the spring on it is VERY delicate (brittle?). I connected the first one to my glasses, no problem. The second one snapped instantly and completely ruined the eyeglass retainer. My advice is to be careful connecting the little rubber band because it is not robust and will break. Why this flaw? Strong rubber bands are dirt cheap. This product failure was an annoying disappointment to me because the eyeglass retainer otherwise met my expectations. Because of that problem I’m very skeptical about the long term life of these eyeglass retainers. On the other hand, I liked the design and bought another pack because they are not outrageously expensive and appear to be a throw-away (disposable) item that is expected to break.
