Not braided unicorn hair, but I couldn't be more pleased!
I wasn't looking for braided unicorn, silk or even pre-shrunk 100% cotton. They are advertised as Nylon, Cotton. These gloves are without a doubt a nylon, probably some cotton, with maybe a little spandex for stretch. All six pairs looked uniform and the same size. No flaws to complain about. A couple have a tiny thread (looks like a snag) coming from the bottom of the cuff. It's not a snag it looks like that's where they ended the grey knitted thread. Definitely not a complaint given the price of these gloves. If you are using these gloves on anything slightly rough that they could snag on they probably will. I have put them on as early as two hours before bed and just felt it start to snag on the unfinished edge of a piece of wood.Very comfortable! I tried knit winter gloves (too itchy), latex (hot, sweaty and they stink), nitrile (just hot and sweaty), and prior to these found an inexpensive lined pair of leather driving gloves (too thick and the finger tips were way too long) to be the most comfortable.Normally I am a lightening rod for static electricity, but I cannot vouch for the anti-static or ESD properties. I haven't had any static shocks while using these gloves. Having said that currently the weather has been on the humid side. I did not buy the gloves for static reasons.I have eczema on my hands. The gloves are so I can put medication or moisturizer on in the evenings and wear these to bed. It would keep the creams and moisturizers on my hands and off the bedding. They are fully knit with the only seems are not really felt at the tips of each finger. The cuff has a heavy stretch stitch to prevent it from unraveling. They only come in one size 20-23cm, but as I said they do stretch. My hands measure about 21.5cm or about 8.5 inches and they fit perfectly. I normally wear a men's medium glove. My fingers are about 1/4 to 1/2 of an inch longer than all my friends and family that have about the same sized palm. That being said my hands look normal. No freaking NBA professional finger spread. The gloves are snug without being too tight. When I put the gloves on I do have to work my fingers in, but I can feel that if someone had fingers maybe 1/2 an inch longer than mine they would probably fit snug, but would likely fit. They are just the right length on my wrist. The cuff does come up a bit in the palm as you can see in the picture, but you don't feel a difference when wearing them. The cuff is also snug without being too tight.I have worn the first pair for 4 nights. It was only today when I held then against the new pair I will be using tonight that I saw an ever so slight twinge of grey. They do say to hand wash in cool water. Not a problem for me. In fact they feel durable enough I may put a couple pairs in the cold water laundry in gentle and see how they hold up.I'll update the review if there is any unreasonable problems after washing.
