Victorian Vintage Bathing Costume Pattern

After doing a little research and a few slight changes I was able to use this to create my own personal design. It went together easy. I won the Swimwear contest with it.

The pattern itself is an utter delight and printed on sturdy paper rather than ephemeral tissue. Unfortunately, the sizing runs really small so I am going to have to scale up and make a Mockup to get the fit right. If you are generously built as I am, you may want to try Folkwear or the Mantua Maker for better sizing without the fiddly scaling and muslin/toile steps.The instructions are well written and clear and have good illustration. This is suitable for an intermediate skill level

I made a swimsuit for my daughter to wear at a Steampunk event at a beach. The pattern ran true to size based on the measurements on the package. I used polyester microfiber fabric because it dries more quickly than cotton, and she enjoyed swimming in it. This was one of the more complex patterns I have made, but it went together well and the instructions were clear.

The instructions were clear and it didn't end up taking a lot of time to make. The suit turned out very well and it is very pretty. Average + skill level. It is a very handsome suit.

Great pattern, made a Steampunk bathing suit with black and brown striped cotton, turned out great. Easy to follow.
