Nice concept and size for exhaust fan
I love it , I love it, I love it This fan size works perfectly fine for my hand made kitchen. I will just suggest extra light and fusible for it and the standard transformer for the right voltage

The lighting in this vent is abysmal. But it works ok.
This fan unit was easy to install even though it came w/out a wiring diagram. I had to use a 12 volt DC battery to figure out which set of wires was for the fan & which was for the light. My old unit also had poor lighting like this one has & someone had installed two bright LED lights which I removed & put on this one after drilling 2 mounting holes for their wires to feed through. After that it was a matter of hooking up the correct wires for positive & negative since this is a 12VDC unit.It fit fine in the old ones place.Would I recommend this? A qualified yes if you want to add lighting to it, otherwise look for something with brighter lighting already installed. It looks and works great.

Not a lot to like with the fan.
First; no wiring diagram. How simple would it would be to tell us how this is wired. There are 3 wires one is a ground and is screwed into the vent. I did not use this wire. There were a black wire and a red-ish wire. The black went to the black (hot) from the RV and the red went to the white (common). The fan and light work. The fan is a lot louder than the Furrion my friend’s RV has. It is not as loud as the blasting one I removed. This fan is also very weak. For the sound it puts out one might expect it to really be pulling air, but it does not.The light is weak. I thought putting in a stronger LED would help, but the light is hardwired in place. So weak fan and weak light. No wiring instructions. Not much to like fron this unit.

Not reliable
Only a week after installed, the motor quit working. We kept the hood and replaced the motor.
