High quality, collectable. Recommended.
Not a great monitary investment. However we're preppers. Not "doomsday preppers" which was a rediculous tv show, just preppers. And these are for a grid down SHTF scenario meant to replace normal currency. Pre 1965 U. S. Coins are 90% silver and theoretically can be used in trade for goods and services during a crises. Very good coin condition, clear and clean and bold embossing of all but one coin which is much much older than the rest which are mostly 40's and 50's era coins. For collecting and prepping these are great coins. We purchased 9 sets.

Far from "junk" silver, great coins
I was just expecting 5 loose coins, maybe wrapped in bubble wrap in fair condition considering the price wasn't too much higher than spot price even with shipping. I was wrong! I got 5 coins in individual cardboard slabs, all with great detail and clear dates and mintmarks. One coin almost looks XF or close to uncirculated. The "mercury" dimes were kinda on the tarnished side with just a faint color tone on one coin. But I'm a fan of rainbow toning so that worked out great. I would reccomend this to anyone that wants some silver coins or bullion, or just as a gift for someone a little older that used to handle these coins daily.I ordered through Media Now Direct, and it was a great order.

Bad Purchase
The product cost 24.00 dollars and shows various older coins such as walking liberty, or mercury dimes. When product arrived it was in a nice blue velvet bag but contained (1)1956 US quater, (1) 1963 US quater, (1) 1950 US dime, (1) 1957 US dime, (1) 1953 US dime, (1) 1946 US dime, (1) 1964 US dime. So 5 US dimes and 2 US Quarters.I was really hoping to get something better than quarters and dimes that are not that old. I think it was a bit of a rip off. I could have gotten a 40 buffalo nickels for less.I am not returning it because it is a hassle. But collectors beware of these types of sellers.

The description is a little misleading.
When I ordered this, it said in the description “Excellent Condition (NO CULL OR WORN COINS)”. I received my package within 5 days of ordering it, which was sooner than expected. When I opened it, it contained:•1 Steel Penny, Date: 1943•5 Mercury Dimes, Dates: (1) 1942, (1) 1943, (2) 1944, (1) 1945•2 Washington Quarters, Dates: (1) 1941, and (1) 1942Considering the description says “Excellent Condition”, I was surprised the steel penny was rusted, and some of the other coins are definitely worn and some of the letters/numbers have rubbed off. The description also said “Silver Coins” so I’m not sure why they even sent a steel penny. They said the coins would weigh a little over 1 ounce, but when I weighed mine it was a little under 1 ounce. I am disappointed that they didn’t come exactly as described. It would be helpful if they would list how many coins you will be receiving in the description, and use an actual photo of the coins that they ship. They definitely should update their description.Overall, I’m happy about the 2 quarters and 5 Dimes. They are older coins that I don’t have so they are perfect for my coin collection. But for the price, I don’t know that I would order from them again. It’s frustrating when you receive something that doesn’t match the description.

Incomplete order, mixed of circulated somewhat worn coins.
Ordered 4 sets. I was expecting 4 quarters, 4 halves and 12 dimes. I am short by 1 quarter, 2 halves and 4 dimes. If I would have ordered 4 separate orders I feel I would have gotten what I was expecting, but since I ordered 4 sets, they held back. They were not blue bagged, or slabbed/stapled. They were in 4 small plastic bags, which was ok but not shipped as others have described. I will be returning these items or expecting a small amount of additional coinage. Even if I got what I ordered, they would be worth $64.15 today, at a cost of $94 with ship is a loss, but for the silver value and long term storage, maybe worth it in the future. I have to say that shipping took 1 business day from CA and I am in PA. Very impressive shipping speed to say the least.

These old coin work in the vending machine at the Farmers Market near me
I bought these old silver coin from a gift certificate to AMAZAN.COM that my brother give me for my birthday. I had carried these coin around in my pocket for a week when I was at the Farmers Market to get some new dress shirts and they have a vending machine that sells little packet of chocolate chip cookies that I like to get when I go there as a treat to myself when I am done my shopping there. I didn't have any other coins on me and so I had to use the quarter and the dimes from this silver collection to get my cookies. I didn't want to use them in that but it is important for you to treat myself sometimes or else what is the point? I will be placing another order soon and hopefully I will be able to keep them this time and not use it on cookies?
