Comfortable (right out of the box!); good for high arches
OMG...loved these sandals! I have been struggling with plantar fasciitis for months and had an upcoming international trip where I knew I would be doing a lot of walking. After searching online for suggestions I came across this brand. I bought several pairs thinking I'd be returning the ones that didn't work with my wardrobe colors (internet photos aren't always completely accurate). They are certainly pricey. I put them on and instantly my feet felt supported and as if I'd had them for years...so comfortable! I only had time to walk in them for a day or two before we left on our trip. I walked all over the place in these...in Italy...on cobblestones...my feet felt great. Tired, yes. But also supported. The downside is I've decided to keep the other two pair despite the cost. To know: I have very high arches and it's difficult to find footwear to support my feet properly. These did the job.

but I’m glad I did
This was a hard decision because I really didn’t want to spend this kind of money, but I’m glad I did, because they are worth every penny. The leather is soft and beautiful. The craftsmanship is evident, it looks like an expensive shoe. As if that weren’t enough, they are sooooo comfortable! A shoe that looks great and feels great is so hard to find. I love it that it has a little heel in front and back because it gives me the little bit of height that I like and need. I wish I could afford one in every color. This is def a 5 star shoe.

runs a bit tight
Great style, gets looks because here in the SW desert they are not the usual footwear we see. I like the design, quality and feel of NAOT shoes, but this one is a little tight across the top and that constant pressure on the great toe did cause a neuropathic pain in that area. To compensate, I use wood stretchers with a stretch spray, and take time in a process of widening and lengthening each stretcher a little each day for about a week.

Quality, Versatility and True Comfort in Fit
Love, love, love these sandals! My niece had a pair of these Naot sandals on, and it was love at first sight! Sturdy, molds to the foot and pretty to look at. Very good quality in a beautiful olive green that just happens to match the purse I have. Another plus point is that the strap around the ankle looks buckled, but is Velcro. The price definitely matches the kind of high quality materials that were used, and I look forward to having this product for a long time.

Perfect for travel
Bought these for an upcoming vacation. They are the perfect mix between a shoe and sandal. They offer great support and stability but are still breathable. They have tons of cushioning in the footbed and around the ankle strap. They are a little bulky but surprisingly flattering on the foot. I usually wear a 9.5 and went for the 10. They fit perfectly. I would definitely size up if between sizes.

Don't hold shape, too warm for summer, uncomplimentary tan lines
I own three pairs of Naots, and this one turned out to be quite disappointing. To clarify, I got the black nubuck leather ones. I see that now there other types of leather offered as well, and they may fare better. These lost shape rather quickly. Within just a few weeks of wear they were no longer those sleek sandals I saw in the picture. They widened and looked bulky and untidy (while my feet are quite narrow, and the sandals were not tight to begin with). Ankle support is ok but it would have been much better if the leather held shape. The leather is fairly thick and double layered (again, I am talking about the nubuck version I purchased) - too warm for the summer, and uncomfortable in hot weather. And since the leather covers big part of your foot, if you are a walker and wear these shoes often they leave very distinct and uncomplimentary tan lines, that will not look good when you wear other sandals. I had a thought about the tan lines when buying, but the sandals looked so cute that I decided to go for them, anyway.Unfortunately, I discovered most of the above after my return window passed. Eventually, I replaced them with Begonia style. They have the same sole, similar ankle strap, super comfy, and they have velcros that allow to adjust the width, should the leather stretch a bit.

Loved them but :(
Mine were too big. I'm a size 9 only simetimes an 8 1/2 so i got EU 40 and should have got 39 . However they were also tight over my foot (I have a high arch) BUT ! These shoes are a fabulous style and if I could afford to risk it I would have them stretch ( as naot are known to do anyway) I sadly sent them back . They really are the nicest style and colour that Iv'e seen in a long time. Would go with anything For myself I found the padding on the ankle very comfortable

Perfect! Just as i hoped!
I have several Naot shoes, which i love and find very comfortable for walking all over on touring trips! These are the first sandals I’ve purchased. I read reviews and decied to go a size down from what i purchase in shoes. I ordered 39, size 8 and they fit perfectly. I wear an 8 1/2 normally so wasn’t sure how they’d fit. They look great, fit great and are very comfortable! Super happy with this purchase. I got the beige/ black and was surprised they were so much cheaper. Perhaps an unpopular color combo. Pretty happy to find them far less than 100.Update: After wearing these around the house for several hours it became obvious that they do not have enough arch support for me😕 so, regretfully, I’m going to return them.
