Iris Smart Hub

Now that Iris has opened up full features on the free plan, it is amazing!

Range is 10 feet and even then, connectivity is almost a nightmare to set up.

Easy setup and this system works quite well for an alarm. Had Samsung smart things setup and have found Iris to better suit my needs for an alarm.

Could not get it to pair with any of my generation 1 sensors

I upgraded to a high grade Kwickset system because it offered the option to lock and unlock my door from my phone. When it came in I realized I needed a “hub” to make it work. I took a deep breath, swallowed and ordered the $80 hub.It was a nightmare to connect, but customer care helped make it happen. Then there was a 1 hour delay from what I selected on the app.Let me explain - you press unlock and the app says “door jammed”. An hour later the delay times out and the door unlocks.I called in and they said I needed a REPETER! I needed to purchase an additional item to allow the door to connect to the hub that was 15 feet away.I am returning it all now and will never buy from them again. Sadly, if the option to control the door from my phone wasn’t available, none of this would have happened.Hire someone else in your tech department.

Great product. I was a bit skeptical based on some of the negative reviews, but happy so far. Hub and other add-ons are very easy to install. The app is very simple and i like the scene and rule features. My only complaint is that contact sensor range is limited. Two sensors about 20 feet from hub do not maintain connection. I was able to solve this problem by installing a smart plug which also acts as a range extender. Appears that electronics that connect via wifi do cause interference with system. Also wish there were more compatible products. Hope that improves over time.

Horrible customer service. The customer service for the unit can only tell you how to insert the battery’s or how to plug the unit in to the wall.

Product was as described miscommunication on shipping. Limited on Alexa integration. Consider wink. It’s a free service

Box game opened and was previously used and setup. Iris couldn’t pair the hub because it was still paired to its previous user. Waste of time.

I have had so many problems with this thing that, despite the $70 I paid for it, I'm seriously ready to throw it in the trash and try the Samsung hub instead.

Iris smart hub is an oxymoron. I bought this hub to operate an existing Schlage smart lock remotely.

It doesn’t work outside the U.S. but was supposed to.

I just tried to set it up Iris support has informed me the product is registered to someone else and it's no good Ny longer.
