USE ZAVOR 10 inch SEAL SPCWGA23 INSTEAD!
I reviewed this gasket already, pointing out the flaws and recommending against it. It will fit exactly but will yet not hold pressure, that is the idiosyncrasy.I have gone on and luckily have found one that works splendidly for my Fagor duo 8 liter 10 inch pressure cooker: ZAVOR 10 inch SEAL SPCWGA23! They cost about 12 bucks each and are made like a battleship. They seal nice and tight, pressure is fully up, NO leaks at all. Zavor won't recommend their gaskets for other pressure cookers for liability reasons, probably, but this one works wonderfully for the Fagor 10 inch cooker that I have, and a shorter 10 inch 4 liter Fagor as well. Finally...a solution for many of those wonderful Fagor pressure cookers out there marooned without working gaskets! Thanks to the people here who found this out and suggested it. I just tested it and recorded the part number to make it easy to order from Zavor. Remember it will fit 10 inch Fagors only. There may be another ZAVOR to fit the 9 inch Fagor series as well, but I don't have one so not sure which part number to order from ZAVOR, maybe try their 9 inch size? good luck. In my opinion, this gasket is better made than the original Fagor gasket.

Older Fagor
I have an older Fagor pressure cooker and it’s difficult to find replacement seals that work. This one does!

FINGERS CROSSED!
I have a 10 quart Fagor Duo Pressure Cooker and seen this 2 pak replacement silicone rings for my pressure cooker almost 2 years ago and has been out of stock and has never been back in stock until I seen it in my saved list a week and a half ago saying last one so I hurried to order it and while I was waiting on my order I looked at a lot of the reviews and seen where it seemed like 80 percent of the people who had ordered this that it leaked or wouldn't seal and was just a touch narrower than the original and then I had a sickening feeling in my gut because Fagor is no longer in business and Zavor who won't say if there parts will work is now also out of business from the calls I made while waiting on my order. I can not believe that no one makes a exact replacement silicone ring for this brand that's no longer in business. I am Happy Happy Happy to say that I received my ordered and it seems to work just fine for my pressure cooker. As most people had said that these rings is just a touch narrower and that is true and the diameter appears to be spot on. I am so Happy that this works and my hundred plus dollar Fagor Pressure Cooker will live on and possibly be handed down to someone who will get some good use out of it like I have. I hope this information was helpful. 😇 😊

Beware may not fit your model pressure cooker
Good quality and value for money. Details appeared to be able to fit my model but because thickness not wide enough, then did not fit to allow pressure build up for cooking for my model.

I messed up! Don't you!!!
I bought the wrong size! The 9 inch ones I bought in their place fit fine and work as expecte!BTW there are 2 things that might help you get the RIGHT FIT:1. What is the maker of your pressure cooker?Just as a lid for pressure cooker A might not fit on B though they are the are the same size, the same holds true of gaskets! Weird but...2. What is the diameter?MEASURE IT! That's what happened to me. HIM said he needed a new gasket. I asked him for the maker. He gave me the answer. Found it here. Next question; what is the diameter? HE (the mechanical engineer) says 10 inches. So that's what I ordered. WRONG! Ergo, I must reiterate: MEASURE! Do not estimate!!! Returning stuff costs money!!So remember:1. Who manufactured your cooker?2. What is the diameter of your cooker?

Don’t recommend this gasket.
I cannot recommend this product for a Fagor Duo 8 qt pressure cooker. I’ve had the pressure cooker for 2+ years and I’ve had no problems with it. It would get up to pressure quickly, and it would let out steam via the top if it was a bit over pressured and I would know to turn down the heat.I used my PC twice today with this replacement gasket with poor results.First off on a side by side comparison with a factor gasket, it’s ever so slightly smaller and flimsier.First use was for a short 8 minute cook. Once the cooker got up to pressure, it was steadily venting steam out of the sides due to the gasket not sealing properly. The second use ended up with catastrophic failure. Began a second cook and I was having the same issue with steam venting out of the sides. I pushed down hard on the top of my PC and was able to get a decent seal. I turned down the heat and pressure was holding. 15 minutes later without the normal indicators of overpressure, the gasket slipped out of a section on the side of the cooker, steam began to rapidly escape, pressure cooker was spun off the stovetop onto the floor and food ended up all over the walls and floor of my kitchen. My pressure cooker ended up dented and is a total loss.
