Yutong Fabric by The Yard and 9OZ-100% Polyester Upholstery Sewing Fabrics-Solid Ivory Pattern

Got this fabric to re-cover my dining room chairs. Although I haven't gotten around to it yet, I wanted to say that I opened the package and the color of the fabric is just beautiful and very true to the photograph. It also seems like a rather sturdy fabric as well.

The quality was amazing.

This fabric material is what I wanted however, the ivory is darker than it looks in the picture. It’s more of a dark ivory with a hint of gray tone. It would be fine if you’re not trying to match it toanything. However, I have light ivory curtains I want it to coordinate with- and unfortunately it doesn’t.

I decided to recover the seats on two of my counter chairs. It was, admittedly, an easy project but I didn't read instructions or watch YouTube videos and I've never recovered a chair before so the results should have been not so great. I searched websites of several craft and fabric stores and Amazon. I chose this fabric from Amazon because and I really liked its appearance and the price and delivery timeframe were much better than similar fabrics at the other sites. When the fabric arrived, the color was perfect and the fabric texture matched the look. Some of the fabrics I found had printed patterns with a smooth texture. This fabric was exactly what I wanted. I was in only a moderately patient mood while I was doing my learn-as-you-go project. Then... surprise! Both chairs looked exactly as I had imaged. Well, I imagined perfection and they weren't quite perfect but they were perfect for my purposes. I couldn't have completed this project with such nice results if not for this forgiving fabric.

I bought this fabric; the description said it would come in TWO 1-yard pieces, instead I got one piece of fabric that’s almost 59 inches (1 yard is 36 inches, two yards is 72 inches). Not sure who does the measuring or cutting for this but they are very off and now I only have enough fabric for half my project and it’s too late to return.

Very nice fabric, easy to work with, one-way stretch. 1 yard will do two chairs.This is a great value for the money it has a good thickness and it's soft to the touch. The color was as described in the pictures and I think it will hold up durability wise.

It’s ok, wish it was wider.
