Great For Older Vehicles!
This device is terrific! super easy to set up, and it pairs automatically with your mobile device. So easy to use, too.I got it for a 2004 Toyota because I didn't want to swap out the factory JBL system. It's a must-have for older vehicles. I highly recommend.

Works really well
I bought this "Bluetooth FM Transmitter" device to use in my 2005 model car, which has no Bluetooth or AUX input. This device is exactly what I've been needing, and I don't know why I waited so long to get one. Anyway, here are the "pros" and "cons" from my perspective after using it for about a week (every time I get into the car):Pros: (1) No need to mention the things that are in the Amazon description. There is a lot of functionality, and it all works as described, except as in the "Cons", below. (2) Others have mentioned static, but I did not encounter any static. Yes, there is static when the car radio is tuned between stations, but the static is gone as soon as the device begins transmitting at the same frequency. (3) It's best to turn up the volume on the phone, then adjust the volume on the car radio. For me, neither one had to be at a maximum. (4) After initially pairing the device with the phone via bluetooth, it then connects very quickly when the car ignition is turned on. A fairly loud "beep" indicates they are connected. Cons: (1) The documentation is good, except that the font is much too small. I had difficulty reading it, especially the letters that identify the various buttons. (2) The documentation states to turn the knob (with the green phone picture) left or right for "previous" or "next" song. However, the correct procedure is to push the knob left or right. I think I almost broke it by trying to turn it. (3) The FM frequency is shown on the device in a small font that is difficult to read. After getting the device and radio working together, I set one of the car's radio presets to that frequency, so there's no need to bother with it again. (4) The bass is stronger than I like, even without the bass boost. I had to turn down the base on my car radio, but with that adjustment it is fine. OK. That's it. In short, I'm very happy with it, after figuring out some of the quirks.Update: I've had this for several weeks, and it is still working well. I have this one additional "con": It appears that I can pair it with only one phone. After pairing a second phone, I have to go through the pair procedure with the first one again if I want to use the first one again with this device. It's not much trouble, but it would be nice if it could remember multiple phones.

Pretty good deal
It's pretty good. Set on radio station with static. Great sound but hope you car antenna has good reception. Sometimes a little interference touching steering wheel or gear shift.

Amazing !
I had a issue with my car where I couldn’t make the aux works because it’s a 2005 car and with this one I got it to work in less than 5 minutes and it works great !! I am really grateful I purchase this product

VERY GOOD DEAL
Nice addition to an old Camry. Sound is great. Not complicated at all. Charges phones, plays tunes, and makes phone calls hands free.I used a 400 grit sand paper to brighten the inside of the lighter body to make for better connectivity so there is no static crackle as it goes down the road.I suspect that it is much better than something you might buy at a big box store.

Using this "low tech" to replace a Wet Sounds AL-SR-V2
I ended up buying the Wet Sounds AL-SR-V2 audio transmitter for the boats. The Wet Sounds product does work, but is ridiculously expensive. It also gets insanely more expensive the more boats you try to link - which kind of the point of boats sharing audio. This "low tech" replacement IMHO is a more than suitable option: This unit is 10x cheaper, has a super simple setup, is reliable, and anyone in the tie up can join in. Sure... the audio isn't SKAA or supports high fidelity, but at the same time we're tied up with 4 or so different boats with kids and dogs - so don't need audiophile level quality in that environment. The audio quality is not bad by any means, the sound is as good - if not better - as a high quality FM station. The bass is solid on this unit though and makes the onboard audio on the boats sound pretty good with a sub.I'm struggling to find the value of the Wet Sounds unit versus price, when you look at what you get for a fraction of the cost with this product.

Worked good until it broke. (5months)
It worked really good and I loved it… one day, I couldn’t unplug it from my 12v port. Once I forced it out, I found that one of the metal contacts had broken, keeping it from being able to come out. Bummer.

Pretty good
Was easy to connect to bluetooth. Once you turn car on and plug it back in, it connects it right away. Only problem is that it is picky about what cords it uses to charge up your phone. The speakers are only as good as your speakers. The quality is very good. The phone part sounds good but when you are talking they say it sounds like you are talking from afar and they can't really hear you.
