Brass Tub and Shower Valve, Pressure Balancing Four-Port Valve with 1/2 Inch IPS Connections

After the plumber installed this, I had a leak issues like so many people said they also had leak issues with this product. I wrote a very poor review which I just now deleted. It’s not the product. It was the manufacturer that did not insert the pin that holds the cartridge in security. Or it was dislodged in shipping? I found that the clip pin was not inserted all the way through. It should come out the bottom. And I can almost assure you all of the people that said yours leaksI could almost guarantee. “That is your problem?”

installed this shower valve thinking it'd be an upgrade. Within weeks, it started leaking, and not the easy-fix kind. We're talking about a sneak-attack on my floors which are now all warped and looking miserable. Tried reaching out for help but got the runaround. So much for a simple shower upgrade, ended up with a costly mess instead. Absolutely disappointed and now stuck with fixing floors.

This was a super great purchase, the valve was easy to install and works very very well. It completely fixed my old system, shower works great with easy adjustments to temperature now. Very satisfied. Would buy again.

I figured that replacing our shower valve would be a small upgrade, but it has become very problematic. It started leaking immediately, turning our bathroom floor into a pond. We tried to adjust and repair it but to no avail and until now it still doesn’t work properly. The temperature control is the worst – first freezing cold like North Pole, then burning hot like Sahara desert. Really disappointed and now on the hunt for a replacement.

It LEAKS and it cost us an extra plumber visit. NOT HAPPY that we are out a total of $1,009.00!!$444.00 of that was because the plumber had to come back, remove yours and install real MOEN parts.When I purchased the MOEN faucet trim kit I neglected to pick-up that this was "compatible" with MOEN. Thinking it was an actual MOEN valve and cartridge, I didn't even look at the reviews. WHAT A HUGE AND COSTLY MISTAKE! Leaked the next day after showering and every day after that AND did not control the water temp well! Not happy with this vendor OR that Amazon continues to push this as an alternative part!

Could not find this valve locally as it have rather old iron pipe connections. Found it on Amazon and it fit perfectly.

Included cartridge leaked from the get go. Luckily I am a plumber and had a replacement on hand
