Good product - Just make sure you know what size the ends are!
I couldn't tell from the description when I ordered, but now that I have it, the female end is 5/8 just like I wanted, but the male end was only 1/2. Ended up buying an adapter for another $14.00. I didn't see any other options that had a 5/8 male.

Better than original
The original was made from aluminum this brass replacement was a perfect fit and didn’t leak a drop. Wish I knew it was available years ago.

Easy to install and is leak free
This was by far easier than buying a new $100 heavy duty hose reel. You will need the right sized wrench to change this on your hose reel. It took me 5 minutes to replace it and make sure you put pipe thread tape on it for a tight leak proof hose reel. This winter I will remember to take off my hose and completely drain out the water so it won’t crack again.

Saved my hose reel
I screwed up and left my hose attached outside in the freezing weather. Original cracked. Perfect replacement, beat replacing the whole hose reel.

Works Well
I forgot to blow out my two hose reels last winter. The swivel elbow on both reels cracked.I found these replacements and they work perfectly. They are identical material (brass) as the original elbows and I am confident they will last until the next time I forget to drain the hose reel for winter.

Perfect Fit!!!

Solid brass, but thin at important area
It snapped after normal use during only 4 months. Bad design and engineering choices.Likely poor Chinese brass like the substandard grade steel we see in most products today.Buying North American or European products whenever possible, enough cheap cheap and unsustainable consumerism!SZ
