There are a lot of options for Norelco replacement heads on Amazon. The price of the Norelco's replacement heads is ridiculous. So, a few months ago, I bought one of the replacement options on Amazon. The blades didn't cut close and pulled.Then, I tried it again and bought another replacement head from Amazon; the one I'm rating here. I'm very happy with the replacement head I received. I get a nice close shave which is just as good as I would have gotten from the Norelco replacement.The funny part, if you want to call it that, is that the cost I paid for the bad set and the good set is more that what I would have spent on the Norelco replacement. Be careful what you buy!

Like most Chinese knock-offs, this too is a lesser quality product compared to the OE. The screens are lighter material and a different pattern of openings from the OE, the cutting heads teeth are half the width of the OE so they'll wear out much sooner, although the fit of the screens in the holders is good and the cutting heads work well in the screens, there's a definite "tinniness" to the sound when operating. I got 8 years out of the OE because I don't shave every day; I'll consider myself lucky if I get 18 months out of these.You get what you pay for.

I have a Philips Norelco Aquatec razor, whose recommendation is to replace the heads every 12 months. My razor was still working fine, but the head replacement light came on, so I decided to replace the heads with this product (rather than paying the full price from Philips directly) - big mistake. I'm not sure if it's because the blades are dull or because they seem to spin more slowly... but these new heads are terrible. They pull more whiskers than they cut, making for a really painful shave - not an issue I ever had before with previous replacement heads. Avoid this knock-off model at all costs.

These blades grab, pinch and pull. I flinch using the razor now. How can someone sell a product that does not work and produce desirable results.? If there is something I am doing wrong, please let me know. I purchased as they had a great ad and I thought (or wished) there was a great value in comparison to OEM blades.
