Jamas Rack Mount, 2" Receiver

Heavy duty, this product is strong enough to hold much more weight than a standard 2x4 or 2x6 stud wall. I use it to store a stow-away 2 max cargo carrier. I hung it on a wall in my garage to keep it up off the ground. The hitch mounted carrier mounts on this James rack mount, just like it would mount on the back of your vehicle receiver hitch. It does what I expected. I definitely recommend itMarch 2022 update - Still works perfectly after 4 years. I store jack stands under the load to help support it, only because I'm concerned the wall stud could be damaged from excessive weight/force that this rack mount is supporting. It is built to last.

I had such high hopes for this product. When it arrived it came with ZERO mounting bolts, and the hook rack for helmets pictured in the listing was nowhere to be found. I went to the hardware store to buy the needed lag bolts, and upon installation found out that the receiver is also not 2" as advertised. My bike rack wobbled around so much I didn't trust putting my bike on it. After ZERO response from the seller I opened a refund, but quickly found I wouldn't get the $20 I paid in shipping back. I had to go through the hassle of an A-Z claim because the item was not as advertised and seller unresponsive. Save your self a headache and get one of the other mounts.

We installed this in our basement to use our hitch mounted Thule bike rack to store our bikes. What can I say about this mount? It's very sturdy and does its job. We had the 1 1/4" version for years and it never gave us any problems.

Works well with Thule 2 Bike Platform Hitch Rack. Keeps the bicycles easily available when needed while out of the floor. In addition stores also the T2 nicely. Note: the bicycle rack (here T2) defines how far away the bicycles are from the wall when stored.

Mounted this to my garage wall and storing my bikes on it. Seem very sturdy so far and it looks good, too.

Works perfectly. I am using one to hitch my trailer to the wall to prevent it from tipping when I drive on the UTV. I have a second one holding a three bike rack. Sturdy and does what it says.
