Q: Does the one side taper down so you can fold the paper back?

This is the original add a quarter ruler. They have now come out with add a quarter plus rulers. They come in all the different sizes and they have the tapered edge to fold the paper back. They cost a dollar or two more then this one.

Q: Do any of you paper piecing people regret not getting the 12 inch add a quarter plus ruler? Or are you happy with the 6 inch

I do have both, but I think I probably used the 6 inch more than the 12 inch. Think it depends on your block size.
