just improved my dart room overall setup

MY SON-IN-LAW LOVES IT!

Really makes the dart "station" look great. Came with everything including 2 dry erase and 2 grease markers. After a month, no battery issues at all. It really makes things come alive and never fails to impress when my friends see it for the first time

Opened it up and put it right up on the wall. Used it the first night. Shines very well.

I don't regret buying, we use it and it works well. The only problem is that it doesn't really clean well. The cloth it came with isn't great. The finger prints are so visible,

Bought 2 for Christmas gifts. Shame on you for providing a incomplete & defective product after almost 40 years in business.Lights up really bright on batteries. The approved power supply disables the light when plugged in, so it only works on batteries when the cord is not plugged in. All backlit acrylic displays should have a black background. Disappointed that this major detail was overlooked in the production of this scoreboard but included it in the pictures. Clearly you knew this was the case but failed to include it in your product. Now we can’t build the dartboard sets for Christmas until we get adhesive vinyl ordered & delivered. This increases my costs & creates undue stress during the already hectic holidays.I would suggest immediately updating the item with a black background as advertised & shown in the pictures & a power supply that works correctly.For customers who have already purchased this defective & incomplete item, you should provide provide replacement units that work correctly & have the appropriate backing &/or provide a complete refund & a major discount on further purchases from your company.

Was so excited to upgrade my scoreboard. Unfortunately item has scratches. When you turn on scratches makes board look cloudy. Will think twice before upgrading the rest of my setup with Viper products.

So this score board is just "ok". I'm not crazy about the acrylic, I wish it was glass - I'm worried about it scratching when we clean it.My biggest complaint is that it's too bright. It may be fine in a super-bright room with a light-colored background, but I have dark walls and it really needs a dimmer switch for my purpose. I have worked hard getting the lighting just right for my dart board, and the score board is bright enough to be a distraction. I attached a picture so you can see what I mean.I really want to LOVE this thing. Viper/GLD - if you're reading this - I would pay $10 more for glass and another $10 more for a dimmer. Please come out with the "super-deluxe" version - glass, dimmer, and AC adapter included at a $70-$75 price point.All that said, I'm keeping it and not sending it back. Just a little bummed it's not as nice as I'd hoped.

Alright so this looks amazing. The two pencil crayons they sent with this were almost insulting. Obviously not the markers they are using in the awkwardly staged pictures and I bet they could even possibly damage the glass. Not to mention no cloth wipe. Anyway pick up some dry erase markers and you can hang this anywhere and see it fine. Looks great. I went for batteries because I couldn't hide the wires where I wanted to put it. Very happy. Friends think it looks cool. Would buy again in a heart beat. Just assume you are only getting the scoreboard and not any markers/cloth wipe

By the picture I thought it would be black with a light up numbers down the center. It is clear plastic, grease pencils don't work that great so you have to press pretty hard and trace back over a couple times. Going to make something that I can attach the scoreboards to that has a black background. Going to give them a try and see how it goes!!

It is exactly what it say it is as described. I like it, only reason I’m giving it 4 stars instead or 5 is due to when it arrived it had minor scratching to the back of it. I can live with it, can’t notice it from more then a few inches foot away tops. It was packed well for shipping so wasn’t the delivery process.

This item is a great idea but poorly packaged and therefore the first item was scratched and the markers did not work. I ordered a second one and the markers worked but difficult to wipe off the screen. Also again the second screen is all marked up.Poor packaging and poor markers and low quality finishing.

Picture is misleading. The scoreboard is clear, not black. The light works great but the pencils do not work at all. I'm going to try black Bristol board behind it and try some other types of markers. Not a bad product but I would have bought one of the others, such as the white board type if I had known then what I know now.
