CH-151-159 Windshield Suction Cup Mount Holder for Garmin Nuvi 1400 1450 1450T 1490T Replacement for Garmin 010-11375-00

On a very hot sunny day the suction power is diminished, but not by a lot, just don't slap it. It's not exactly what I ordered but the quality over the product is very good.

Lost the original dashboard mount for my Garmin GPS. I am not sure that I would call this a dashboard mount. Most dashboards today are made with materials that doesn't really allow for a good seal. Using this to seal to the windshield works - most of the time. I do find that usually within several days to a couple of weeks, the mount loses it seal (depending on how warm it is). I found that if I seal the mount to the windshield in such a manner that the GPS is resting on the dashboard, it helps keep the seal a lot longer. But, it does the job, and even the factory part (and any other that I have ever used) seems to lose the seal over time.

I recently lost the mount for my Garmin Nuvi 1450 and needed a replacement. The cost for a replacement from Garmin was ridiculous so I decided to try this one from iSaddle. It was priced much cheaper than Garmin's and arrived quickly. Upon unpacking it, I saw that it appeared to be well made and brought it out to the car to try mounting it. It seemed a tad harder to mount the GPS unit on it than the original, but not really a problem.I stuck the unit on the windshield and it gripped firmly. Wow, it works okay and cost a lot less than Garmin's replacement. Score!When you can get what you need AND save money, that's a good day!

Does not stick on the windshield all the time if you remove and reattach on a daily basis. You have to be really careful to apply to windshield or it can, at times, pop off. When it does have a firm suction it does stay on there. You just have to certain your seal on the windshield is just right, it is a bit easy to think it was a good seal only to then have it pop off. If you get the seal just right it does stay on there very well.

I had no issues with this product work great. Suctioned it to the windshield in the corner and it has been there for weeks.

It ticks me off that I lost my original but it happens so that's why I'm here. Its still stuck to my windshield after at least 3 weeks with the Garmin in the craddle so I don't understand the people who say it doesn't stick or falls off in a short time. Without having an original to compare it looks like the one that came with my Garmin.

Glad I made this purchase. Fits exactly like my original. I have a Garmin Nuvi 1450. I liked the price, the fit, and it came quickly!

Clings well. Great grip. Never fell. I found it too big for my liking.
