These are the best dumbbells you can buy. Solid, correct weight, excellent design.

They Dumbbell as they should lol and the weights are exactly 12 lbs. They do smell and are oily so wipe them with some Lysol a few times. What's important is the grip is small enough for my tiny hands.

I bought these to add to my matching set of 10,15,20,25s. I realized I needed some 8 pounders for my shoulders as the 10s were too heavy for me to keep proper form. Anyway, we aren't here to review my physique.These are great weights. They are the correct weight, I checked on my scale, and the rubber ends are the perfect size for how heavy they are. The handles are stainless and are very sturdy. They're a good size for wrapping my hands around, and I am a woman with relatively small hands. All of my other dumbbells are the same brand (purchased under a different account so I cannot review them here) and they are great. The rubber is nice for protecting my flooring, and protecting my head on those very rare occasions that I am not paying attention and bonk myself. Still hurts, but less so with the rubber than it does with the metal ones.I also had an issue where my basement was leaking and small amounts of water sat very near these dumbbells for an extended period of time, and they did not rust or get gross.The only "issue" I have with these dumbbells is that there is a residue that will come off on your hands/body the first few times you use them. This can be avoided if you wipe them down with an all-purpose cleaner before use. I usually just wash my hands after as I do not know what long-term effect cleaners might have on the integrity of the rubber. Overall a great product though and I plan to buy more of this brand as I need higher weights.

This is such a stupid thing to review. They are dumbbells. They work great for something you pick up and put down. So would two 10-lb books. So would two 10-lb bottles of water. You get the idea. They don't give you blisters. I like the metal handles. They have a lot of room, so if you have big hands, they'd still work great. Durability? Don't throw them out the window of a high rise and you should be OK. Sturdiness? What are people doing with dumbbells? Just use them properly and you'll be fine. They're well-constructed and the hex weight doesn't come off the handle or loosen - though I haven't tried to take them apart. I'm not in the habit of trying to break things I just bought. I've been using these pretty consistently for a month. If they ever decide to self-combust, I'll let you know.
