Invigo Fresh Natural Latex 3-Inch Twin XL Mattress Topper, White

The Invigo Fresh Natural Latex 3" Twin Mattress Topper shipped quickly and arrived boxed and wrapped in heavy weight plastic. The box was easy to open, and the plastic was easy to remove. It was not shrink wrapped that using a scissors I would be afraid I would tear the topper.The feel in bed was more soft than supportive. i am heavy and a side sleeper and am glad the three inches was enough for me to squish into without hurting my shoulder as my tight topped old mattress does. Conveniently. the topper came with the zippered soft velour-like cover already on it.Two drawbacks: the topper stinks. I opened the box at 7 PM and aired it in the living room only to more it outside because the smell was so strong. I propped it across the stoop railing and one straight backed chair so that it was exposed to the Spring breeze on both sides.. It stayed outside for three hours. I wish I had aired it early in the day because I would have left it out for 12 hours or more. I slept on it that night and the smell gave me a headache.I do recommend this product, and advise you give it airing time. I slept better on the topper than I have in ages without it.

I bought this mattress topper because I am pregnant and our otherwise quite comfortable 3 year old mattress was making my hips hurt when I slept on my side (which is my only option).With the Invigo, I still wake up in pain by the end of the night, but that is much better than waking up every hour to switch sides and having both hurt by the end of the wee hours!That said, we sink into the thing quite a bit. When my 3 year old comes to snuggle, he is sucked into the huge dent I make in the topper. Also, my husband doesn't love it and he likes a softer surface than I for sleeping.It always bounces back, so that is good, but this will be off our bed as soon as our baby is born and the hip pain gone.I think it is probably great if you have a hard mattress, but if your mattress has some give to it already, then it is a little too soft in my opinion.As far as the smell goes, we aired it out for a day before putting it on the bed. After that I could smell it a little bit for a couple of days, but at this point maybe a month later it is not an issue at all. It never crosses my mind. I don't think it ever bothered my husband at all as he is not that sensitive to smells.

We bought a new mattress and it ended up being a little firmer than we expected. Since you can't return mattresses, I decided to research mattress toppers. I looked into the different types of toppers and decided on latex. Then I looked into the different types of latex and the companies that sell the products. It can get really expensive! After a lot of research, I chose this product because:1. I wanted a 3 inch pad but I didn't want to spend a fortune.2. I didn't want to get too hot as memory foam can often be (we have had no heat issues with this one)3. I wanted something natural so we weren't breathing in scary chemicals4. With amazon prime, it shipped fast and you can return it if you have issuesAfter several nights of sleeping on this topper, I am so glad I chose this one. This topper is so comfortable and well priced. I have had the best nights sleep of my life since I bought it. I actually really look forward to going to bed! I highly recommend this product to revive an old mattress or to soften a new one.

I'm giving it 2 stars straight out of the plastic, b/c it IS NOT odor free. I did read other reviews that say the odor is very slight, but mine is really strong... anything but slight.We rcv'd ours just today, and we haven't slept on it yet, but the odor is why the low score. We bought it, b/c we thought it was suppose to be odor free. Our purpose was not so much for sleep comfort as we wanted something to smother the chemicals on our new bed we bought about 3 mos ago. Believe me, it is anything but odor free. It smells JUST like our new stinking Simmons mattress.If this smells does not completely go away w/i a week, it will be returned. Plus, I ordered a reg king and it is too long and too wide. When we lie on it, it flips up on the edges and hangs off the end of the bed, and it is SOoooo aggravating to have to deal w/ this; if this does not change, it will be returned for this reason as well.I HATE false advertising.Update 10/7/12: Returning product, so I downgraded it f/ a 2-star to a 1-star. It caused us muscle fatigue and headaches, and the odor did not go away, even the least of it. It just didn't work for us.I'd like to add that we LOVE doing business w/ Amazon. Clearly, customer satisfaction is of utmost important to them. When we think of buying something, we always ck first to see if it's sold on Amazon.

I've had a Tempur-Pedic mattress and bed set for over six years. While I love the bed's attributes, the memory foam, for me, overheated my body so that I still tossed and turned throughout the night. Finally, my many travels with hotel mattresses helped me realize this situation wasn't menopause night sweats, I decided to explore the use of a mattress topper to act as a buffer to the memory foam. After spending a great deal of time on Internet research on latex toppers, I decided to purchase the 3" Invigo Fresh.I noticed the cooler temperature the very first night. More amazing, however, was the absolute comfort of this topper. Without being cushy soft, the topper has just enough firmness to gently support the body for complete slumber. I am absolutely pleased with my purchase and would recommend this topper to anyone having heat problems with a Tempur-Pedic memory foam mattress.

This matress topper is very comfortable, doesn't have an odor and fits the bed nicely. But, it holds body heat. There is a definint difference in the heat before adding the topper and now.
