Collects JLD: #14-21This volume has some many fun things going on. The team ends up in another dimension where mages are hunted down and killed on sight by technologically OP armies. The best part? The new dimension affects the team in different ways. Xanadu is old and frail, Orchid is a savage monster, and Constantine compulsively tells the truth. That last one is glorious to see in action by the way.Overall, it's written incredibly well. I mean, it is Jeff Lemire were talking about, so that's a given

Dark.
Like all other Justice League Darks, I loved it.This is my favorite series because I am into magic. The story is about a world where no magic is allowed after a group of people banned it. So, the mythical creatures and fairy's went to hiding underground. Thanks to the little kid with glasses, the creatures are full of courage and want to take back their world. I wish I could buy Vol 4 but the reviews are bad.

This is by far my favorite series in DC
This is by far my favorite series in DC. I loved the old Hellblazer comics and seeing John with a whole team is just awesome. This had quite the story and the return of one of my favorite characters from the Books of Magic (reminding me once again of how that Rowling hack completely ripped off the main character for her "books").

justice league dark vol 3
To ME this was only ok because I didn't read it was justice league DARK. It wasn't bad but it didn't have my favorites in it. Many people at the comic book store I go to really like it. If you like JL Dark you'll like this book.

Great art but so-so story
I was a fan of the Books of Magic miniseries that introduced Tim Hunter. I was somewhat disappointed to see how this Nu52 story retconned various things about the character. The story is ok but not as good as the first trade collection.

Magic runs deep!
Justice League Dark continues to impress. The Death Of Magic storyline continues where we left off last volume. The team races to find Zatanna and Tim who end up in a pretty epic battle. Jeff Lemire and Ray Fawkes are able to bring comedy into the fight, especially what happens to Constantine. It was great. Then a truly creepy antagonist comes into play. Some characters did oddly disappear but the writing was pretty great. The art was wonderful throughout. Overall, another spectacular addition to a superb series.

Dark is the new Black.
Dark is the new Black.I honestly think this is the best team mag on the market these days, well written, well drawn, a good amount of character and mystery and a splash of humour that feels natural not forced or slapstick. The wrap up of the Tim Humter/Books of Magic storyline works well but I agree with others that there may have been a longer arc initially outlined but crossovers forced a quick ending. For the same reason the Doctor Destiny arc feels slightly squashed and I am sure he will be back soon β especially as his links to the group have been so deeply established now.Other group titles may mark time before major crossovers but not this one, every issue progresses the story and the team forward.I eagerly await the Trinity War β but Iβm rooting for this team to win it!
