BEAUTIFUL LIGHTS (ROPE LIGHTS ON THE BUSH, LEFT SIDE OF VIDEO/PICTURE.
The media could not be loaded. These are amazing lights, I love them. The picture doesn't do them justice, because they look way better in person. I also have these on the slow running mode, so you want see the other 7 modes it has. I do need to reposition them a little as well because I put them to deep into the bush so some of the leaves are covering the lights, however when you walk or drive by you can see them all because I'm on a slight heel and as you go down or up you can see the ones that are hidden on this elevation. +PROS+*Awesome solar panel, best one I've seen so far, it's like a legit real deal solar panel except it's smaller since it doesn't need that much battery.*The solar battery has continued powering these lights now after 3 days of no sun (just dark, gloomy and lots of rain). Let me repeat They are still running running after 3 days.*They come with a remote (no more walking over to the solar panel to hit the mode button to switch light scenes (The remote sends a more direct signal when it's aimed at the back side of the solar panel. THE REMOTE DOES WORK DESPITE OTHER REVIEWS. TIP If you point the remote toward the part that gathers the sunlight the signal bounces and doesn't always change the light scenes, but it always works when pointing it toward the BACK SIDE of the panel.*Great customer service, I had a question about the warranty and they responded back right away, they were easy to understand, very professional and had proper customer service etiquette.*The LEDs are inside of a type of very clear plastic/silicone great quality tubing that protects them from the elements, from gets torn or cut as easily when trimming the bushes, THEY DO NOT TANGLE UP LIKE THE REGUALR LED FAIRY LIGHTS.*You are given a nice distance of cord from the rope lights to the solar panel so you can position it more toward the direct sun when the rope lights are in a shaded area.*THE SOLAR PANEL DETACHES FROM THE ROPE LIGHTS SO YOU CAN EVEN USE THEM INDOORS, JUST LEAVE YOUR SOLAR PANEL OUTSIDE FOR A DAY AND THEN BRING IT BACK IN AND QUICKLY CONNECT THE ROPE LIGHT BACK TO THE PANEL. [You will get about 3½ to 4 days of constant light on a full charge] The panel also has an indicator light on the back to let you know when it's fully charged, it changes from to green.*THESE ARE THE SAME LIGHTS AS ALL THE OTHER MORE EXPENSIVE ONES, EXCEPT THESE ARE PRICED MORE AFFORDABLEY.*If you haven't bought them yet and are still deciding on if these are going to work as well as the more expensive ones (STRAIGHT UP, BUY THESE). I've never said "BUY THESE" in any of my other reviews before, but this is 1 of only 16 products I've given 5 stars to out of the 1189 purchases I've made from Amazon. I don't give 5 stars often, so when I do please trust that these are awesome. If you're disappointed in these then you are most likely extremely hard to please. -CONS-*There are no Cons.

Look good, would buy again.
I used these for the first time over Christmas along my sidewalk and to light an outside tree. The lights are bright just like plug in LED lights and the remote is easy to use. I also like that they turn on as soon as it is dark out and turn off once it it light out. I was worried they wouldn't be as bright but that wasn't the case. We had a few overcast days. One set along the sidewalk charged enough to always light up. The set on the other side of the sidewalk didn't always charge enough to light up on the overcast days, so it was clearly due to the position of the solar panel. I like the results and am planning to get more for next year to decorate other areas.

Wonderful Decor addition to any yard
The media could not be loaded. We have a nice, but rather small, backyard that we like to make as cozy and welcoming as we can. I got the idea of adding these to our built-in planters, and they fit right under the lip/overhang. You can see from the video how they truly add to the ambiance and provide a nice touch. The flexible plastic rope is about 3/16" of an in diameter, and was easy to install once I figured out the best way to do so. At first I tried bending some paperclips with an end that slipped into the crack between the bricks and the other end with a hook to hold up the solar rope lights. This worked but seemed a bit sloppy. Then I got the bright idea (yeah, dumb pun) to try out some 1/4" coaxial cable staples that I had for installing TV coax cable (and other wires) along walls. This worked PERFECTLY! The cable staples will not go into brick (I think they sell some that do), but I just hammered them into the crack between the bricks and they worked very well.If you want to use these search for Gardner Bender coaxial staples on Amazon, or you can go to this, which is similar to what I used: https://smile.amazon.com/Gardner-Bender-PSW-165-Low-Voltage-Electrical/dp/B002YDWYL4/ref=sr_1_9?crid=1UVFX4ZA5S6U6&keywords=coax+cable+straps+1%2F4&qid=1650889070&sprefix=coax+cable+straps+1%2F4%2Caps%2C100&sr=8-9They are bright enough during twilight, as you can see in the video. At night when it's completely dark they really stand out and look good.So far haven't had any issues with them getting wet. It hasn't rained much, but what little rain we've had -- less than an inch -- hasn't messed them up in any way.You can't cut them to a shorter length, nor can you connect multiple ones together; they are one continuous piece and do not have a connector at the end for lengthening. So you have to be meticulous in your planning on where you will be putting them so that the solar collector gets enough light at one end, and that the lights run from the collector panel to the length that you want to install them. There is about a 4-5 foot wire from the solar panel that allows you to string up the panel before you have to string up the lights.I took off one star because the remote control just does not work! Yes, the battery is installed in the remote correctly. And yes, I removed the plastic pullout tab on the battery. But no matter what I do on the remote, nothing changes on the lights. I even tested the battery and it is fully charged. The instructions do not help me determine how to make the remote control work. Nonetheless, I am very happy with the lights overall because even without using the remote we like how they flash in varying sequences, and change flash pattern on their own. What's great too is that these work perfectly and last all night even though the solar panel is not in direct sun. It is under a small palm tree and gets indirect light and that is enough to power the lights.

Defective lights but seller replaced them
Loved the lights but only worked for a few months. Contacted seller and they readily offered a full refund or to send out a replacement. Seller indicated there was a one year warranty. Great customer service so I chose a replacement.

Outdoor decorative lighting
We needed a long strand of lights for outdoor Christmas decorating. This one is perfect! There are a variety of settings. The remote works well and it stayed true to our setting all season. We will leave it up because it is flat and even on the banisters it isn't obtrusive.

Not good if you want bright light and long lasting product.
Would change to blinking by itself. Hard to get it back to not blinking mode. Did not last long. Three months and no longer working. Will not buy again.

Very bright and long lasting.
I really like how bright the lights are and the variety of lighting options. The lights remain on almost until the sun comes up. That is a really long time. Majority of my other solar lights quit in about half the time. The remote doesn't seem to work. I have to press the buttons on the back of the solar unit. Other than that, I think it works fairly well so far. It would be a 5 star rating if the remote worked.
