If you use a calking gun more than a few times a year I would most definitely NOT recommend this product.I have used it in total 5 times to apply silicon. The plastic mechanism isn't up to the task and starts to warp / bend very quickly.This is WAY overpriced and a gimmick in my opinion. You pay 3 times as much as a standard metal calking gun just for the privilege of it being small.What disappoints me most is that it says it comes with a 12 month warranty. I tried to claim against the warranty through Amazon and they said I needed to contact the manufacturer. I reached out to the manufacturer via there website explaining my unit had broke after a few uses and never received a response.I have since purchased a much cheaper metal calking gun, yes it's much bulkier, but works as advertised.I can't recommend this product at all, waste of money.

A lot easier to use than the normal type of gun

This caulk gun doesn't function as its been described. Once your press it,substance flow is very slow. Basically it will take long time to caulk in 1 door frame for example. By look at gun you can tell is well made but functionality is rubbish.,had to send it back after 5 minutes of use

I tried this today for the first time the principal is ok but practically not so good if your silicontube is warm its fine but stuggles a bit and slips when your sealant is cold. Not worth the money in my opinion. You might say warm it up but when working outside you can't do that. Cliff

Only used this once since purchasing but it worked well and was much better than using old style frame guns. The ability to cut down the tubes will be a big asset for tight spaces.Only negative is that you can't use it for cardboard tubes (eg gripfill) only plastic ones as the cutter snags on cardboard tubes. They are also thicker so again causes snagging.I use a lot of gripfill so slightly aggravating as I can't throw the old gun away yet

Good Idea but mediocre execution. Self destructs with heavier mastic or glue. Lasted me for half a tube of Sikaflex PU sealant before the trigger mechanism broke down completely.Might be alright for less viscous silicone.

Bought as a present but I’m sure it will be appreciated. Such a good idea.
