Would be a much better product if it had a magnet mount
This does work as a good hatchery. However, the suction cup releases and the hatchery falls off within 12 hours, before the brine shrimp hatch. This makes the hatchery a big headache. If anyone wants to use this with saltwater, saltwater makes suction cups hard and completely stop functioning after while. If this had a magnet mount I would give it 5 stars. I modified mine to mount on a magnet I had from a pump that failed. If someone wanted to buy this product and was willing to do the modification to mount with a magnet, I would recommend this product however, if they did not want to make the modification I would not recommend this product.

I really like this product
I really like this product! Gives me so much peace of mind when I go to work all day and leave my baby goldfish behind. The hatch and feeder works very well. It is easy to set up, though you will need to purchase an air pump separately. Instructions were good, within 24 hours I had baby shrimp moving out the little nozzle and into the main tank. Only reason for 4 stars is that after the shrimp hatch and you turn off the air hose, many of the baby shrimp sink to the bottom where the airline comes in and didnt go into the main tank. However, enough baby shrimp make it out into the tank to keep my 200 week old butterfly goldfish fry happy and well fed while I'm at work. It really is a lifesaver! I used to have to pay a neighbor to come over and feed the babies while I was working long days, now I can just give them a boosted feeding in the morning and evening and they are kept well fed throughout the day. It didnt take them long to learn where the food is and now every time I look at them, they are all crowded around the nozzle area!

GENIUS!
Love it! So I had bought several Pearl Danios and while they were in my quarantine tank they decided to breed. I had no intentions of breeding any fish at the moment so was somewhat ill prepared for this occurrence aside from the fact that I had treated the tank with methylene blue prior to the eggs being laid and that it was full of moss. I hastily ordered this brine shrimp feeder and though due to my own lack of prepareness I lost about 3/4 of the babies over the next week; I still have 6 danio fry that are getting visibly larger every day. This feeder is simple to setup, works as advertised, and requires little maintenance. The only downside is it does take up a fair amount of room in the fry tank (its in a 5gal); but the fry still have plenty of room to swim around (they usually just park somewhere in front of the feeder and eat the brine shrimp as they swim out).

Brine Shrimp Addicted Guppy Fry
Bought this to feed my Guppy fry and they now hang out near the shrimp port for their daily fix. It's installed in a fresh water tank and I've had no problem with much salt water going into the fresh. A little doesn't hurt anyway. A YouTube video by the manuracturer might be nice as the directions were a little less than extremely helpful, but it's not a very complicated system. The whole system holds 16 fluid ounces of water for dilution purposes. The angled clear plastic piece on the bigger side of the unit pulls straight up and out for adding salt and baking soda. Be sure to replace it as this facilitates the bubble circulation of the cysts(eggs.) It cleaned up nicely with white vinegar.I have an adjustable heater in that aquarium to maintain 80°F or 27°C per brine shrimp egg hatching instructions. A small cheap desk lamp focusing light on the hatchery lets you turn off the main tank lights at night while giving the eggs needed light. TOM Aquarium Hatch N' Feeder Brine Shrimp Hatchery

Provides enough brine shrimp to keep everyone happy but I would not use high quality eggs with this unit. The production does not justify it. I still LOVE IT. It gives me piece of mind knowing there's food being provided when I work 12 hour days. One thing to consider, this sits in a tank that has (at least for me) full lighting across the entire length of the tank. So, when the shrimp hatch they rarely go up the second chamber and exit. I siphon them from the insertion point but the ones that swim at the top of the first chamber are unobtainable. I haven't been able to determine a fix for this despite research. I ordered some krylon fusion to spray paint the top of the first chamber black. I've read this is safe for aquariums if you let cure for 5 days. Hoping this helps since newly hatched brine shrimp will, without fail, end up where there is light.. even if it's not the brightest available; so it's important you can isolate the light.

I love having this in my fry tank
I love having this in my fry tank. Constant food for the fry, but not too much at any one moment. I can even go away for a few days and those slower hatching eggs will keep feeding the tank.A couple things that aren't so good:1.) It really should have two suction cups. I cut a piece of acrylic that surrounds the top to use as a stabilizer.2.) It can be tricky to remove to clean without spilling some egg shells into the tank.3.) Some BBS get into the top of the bubble chamber behind the baffle, rather than going "the right way"Overall though, if you're running few fry tanks, this is way less work than maintaining a bottle system.

Suction cup sucks
As some others have mentioned, the suction cup and it's associated bracket are a total joke. The suction cup doesn't hold real well and the bracket that attaches the suction cup to the unit is plastic and barely grips the unit. So the unit becomes detached from the bracket. As well if you have a lid on your aquarium, which you should, it may be very difficult to get the unit to sit at the "right" water level. In my aquarium the unit sits maybe 1/2 lower than it should. Also, the directions are pretty minimal. Great idea, not necessarily so great implementation.

More like a toy than a real feeder
I suppose if you just have a few baby fish to feed it wouldn't be bad. But when you have an excess of a hundred babies to feed this will not work for you. Also my baby angels were small enough to get in through the plastic screen into the feeder to try and eat. Might be ok to supplement with this but sighhhhhh not at all what I was hoping for

Weird looking, but highly functional
Tried everything, was looking for something better. Ordered this out of frustration, and it works perfectly. Highly recommend, will order more as I need them.Ways to improve the product:1) Make the exit port for the brine shrimp smaller. About 1/2 the size. Some of my angel fry were able to swim into the device.2) Instructions are shady. I needed to read the website, package, and insert to figure out the correct way to use it.

Great Stuff!
The media could not be loaded. Amazing setup! Brilliantly designed to hatch way more shrimp and when set up correctly it delivers live foods to your pets. Use used aquarium water and put in eggs, baking soda, aquarium salt and a touch of “cycle” treatment and you’ll be knee deep in brine shrimp!
