Good Bike. Garbage warranty requirement.
Really? Euromini requires I have a professional "assemble" the bicycle before they will honor their "warranty?"I don't even need to use the warranty, the bike is well made, but that is some lawyer, cheap, low scrupples, garbage. Debating knocking off 1 or 2 stars for that. That's the negatives, really. The bike is super easy to assemble out of the box, why should I have to pay an extra $70-$90 to get access to the warranty? It's stupid and basically makes the warranty a lie.And that chafes me because I really like the bike. It folds well, the weight doesn't matter nearly as much as I thought it would, and it is really sturdy. I've probably logged over 200 miles on the thing, through a couple nasty rainstorms even, and it's held itself together well. It's really convenient to be able to throw the thing in the back of an Uber.I have a road bike that I love touring on. But it's inconvenient to take with me on long trips. This is my first folding bike and I was pleasantly surprised how well it worked. I've done a 30 mile bike ride with the thing, and a couple 20 mile rides, no problems. Not as fast as my road bike, but that's to be expected. It works well for what it is. Throw it in a bag and you can check it on a plane too. They sell bags for it.Only other gripe I have other than the warranty is the plastic folding pedals, kind of weak. I swapped them our with metal ones and was way happier with it.Surprisingly good bike, infuriatingly stupid warranty.

First class
I got this to replace a Dahon folding bike that was stolen after 15 years. I had been thinking about a different kind of bike, since the Dahon was a full size (26" wheels) that I often found difficult to store in regular cars and also an airplane.First, realize that even with this slightly smaller wheel size you are going to feel the difference in stability. Having large flywheels down there makes a difference. The lower stability is something you will have to make up for with better control. Perhaps the only other negative would be the "girly factor". This is not a macho looking bike. However, the resulting smaller frame and wheel size really makes a difference. It fits comfortably in back of my Chevy Bolt, and I could probably get two of them in there. I hand carried it to my small cubicle at work just to see if I could. I suspect it will live in my car after thieves took my Dahon easily from our company bike rack.It would be easier to list what was not an improvement over my Dahon than what was, which comes down to the Dahon being full size. Everything is better. The weight, the gear changes are snappy and crisp without that "its between gears" feeling and the need to woggle the gear handle to stop chain noise. The gear step shows in a window on the gear change handle. The clamps, as described, all have locks on them but one, and indeed, that is the only one that came loose on me, the one that sets the handle bar height. That, fortunately, does not need to be operated to fold the bike. I plan to tie wrap it shut.Folding and unfolding the bike is very quick and easy. I noticed that it took some effort to open the bike, then I realized they had placed a magnetic catch to keep it in the folded position. That is a little thing that just shows how well thought out the design is.What more can I say. Great design, great value for the purchase price.

Absolutely Amazed And Delighted (an Engineer's Review)
I purchased my EuroMini Via after returning a Schwinn Loop. The EuroMini website has a sale that has this bike for $199 with free shipping - and 30 day return guarantee - so I decided to take a risk. I had reviewed the YouTube Videos of folding demonstrations, as well as the EuroMini website in detail. Normally I am an avid Prime shopper, which is why I tried the Schwinn Loop first, but it was so poorly designed and assembled that I could not keep it. After considering a Ford Taurus, I decided to give the Euro Mini a try.Three things about me as you read this review. First I'm a mechanical engineer, so quality matters a great deal to me. Secondly, I attend spin classes every morning, meaning I enjoy riding. Thirdly, I was in the market for a folding bike to carry in my car's trunk when I tow my travel trailer. I did not want to expose a bike to the elements nor tempt thieves at my campsites.I purchased the Via because it has folding pedals over the Campo. The lighter weight was a bonus. The fit, form, and function of the bike straight out of the box was outstanding. No adjustments to brakes or gears were necessary. The manual contained clear instructions on folding and unfolding. My test ride was flawless. I'm 5'9" and was able to fully extend my legs, which is my preference for riding. One of the really unique features is the magnetic widgets that hold the two halves of the bike together - perfection! Has just the right amount of force to hold together when moving around, putting in and out of trunk and wheeling around. Then easy to separatate when you're ready to ride. An excellent design feature! To be honest, had I known about the quality of this bike, I would never have considered the Loop or the Taurus at all. The shipping was super fast, I got mine in 3 days, but perhaps that's because I live fairly close to where the company is (Northern California). I am totally delighted and amazed at what this bike can do, and it will allow me to take rides while I RV and camp - while keeping my bike stowed safely in my trunk. It is incredibly lightweight, easy to fold and stow, and really fun to ride. I find myself wondering whether I will use my other regular sized bike and bike rack anymore. Now I know why they offered a money back guarantee - no way anyone would return one of these bikes. They are too sweet!Thank you EuroMini! :-)

Promising bike, but disappointed
I have been searching for a folding bicycle for a while and decided to purchase the EuroMini Via. This bike had all the features that I was looking for including a light weight aluminum frame, weighed 26 lbs., had 7 gears, and adjustable handlebars. However, when I received the bicycle it was making creaking noise from the bottom bracket. I called the manufacture’s customer service phone line and they acknowledged that this was a manufacture defect but could not honor their lifetime warranty because I reside in Canada. They stated in a written response that “...regretfully, we cannot process claims outside of the Contiguous USA.”So, I was really excited when I ordered this bike that met all of my criteria, but very disappointed because the bike turned out to be defective and the warranty does not cover claims made in Canada.

Much better than the price belies... Well done Euromini!
Sturdy and much more than I expected.Brakes needed to be adjusted and front steering post folding mechanism was a bit loose (easily adjusted with an Allen wrench) but those are small issues. It's not in the same league as my road bike but it's perfectly fine for daily rides to and from the campsite. Great product. I ordered one and another one for my wife! Much more compact to haul while camping.
