Exactly what I needed when I decided move my washer which put it about 4 ft. further from the drain. Easy to install, just pull the old hose out of the drain (leave the washer portion right where it is), place the clamps over the rubber tube, almost in the middle of it. I then squeezed and twisted the rubber tube over the end of the old hose first. A little dish soap around the inside of the hose goes a long way because this fit is TIGHT (which is a good thing). I then twisted the new hose - make sure you use the flat, non-ribbed end - into the rubber tube. Open up both clamps and slide each one to the end the rubber tube. Place the other end into your drain and your done.I gave this product 4 stars because it doesn't come with the u-shaped hose clip that keeps the hose into the drain. I had to use a zip tie to keep it in place - you do NOT want this hose to slip out of the drain in the middle of a rinse cycle!

After unsuccessfully trying to retrofit an old drain hose to my Amana (which comes with an absurdly short hose) I bit the bullet and bought this genuine extension. Have done 4 loads and it works great, as a true replacement part should. Don’t bother with “universal hoses” just spend the extra $10 and get this one, because it works.I will say it is pricey for what you get, but overall I am a satisfied customer.

I'm always weary of extensions that have anything to do with pluming since things always tend to leak but this things works great. I had to move my washer over from the drain so our original hose was too short. I just got this extension and it works great. Fairly easy to install. The connector is very snug so I used some soap and water to push both hose ends into it easier. Secured the clamps with some plyers and it was done fairly quickly.

I bought a new Whirlpool washer and the hose was too short. Adding this extension was easier than replacing the hose. So far, it is working well. The extension is four feet long. The key part is the connector. The connector provided a good fit, and there are no leaks. It came with two spring type clamps, but I opted to use regular hose clamps. This arrived coiled in a plastic bag so it was difficult to straighten out the hose as it tended to spring back to the coiled up shape. I paid about thirty dollars for this which is expensive for what you are getting. That said, it solved my problem, and it should last a long time so I am happy with this.

Just needed a little extra length on my new whirlpool washer's drain hose. Brainstormed a few labor intensive ideas, then found this online. For some strange reason it's not available locally?Either way works perfect, look for the youtube video for install (very easy).

Lg doesn’t sell a drain hose extender. Worked great on our Lg washer hose!

works well, easy to install but only came with one clamp vs the two! no where to contact amazon to send another clamp...very frustrating!

It has worked great as a connector to extend the drainer hose of our washer. No leaks. Seal is strong.
