These are great lights - The exact natural white light I wanted. No yellow (2700K) and no blue (4000K). Just pure white light. There are two caveats. One is the base does get very hot, probably not enough to burn you but they are uncomfortably hot. The second is that the design only allows light out of the wide part of the bulb. They look great in down-facing fixtures like bathroom vanities but don't look as good in up-facing holders like chandeliers since there is a dark space under the light. Overall they are a good value for the money.

I posted a review a bit prematurely regarding flickering from the dimmable light bulbs I bought on Amazon. Product I purchased was the Luxrite A19 LED Light Bulb 60W Equivalent, 4000K Cool White Dimmable, 800 Lumens, Standard LED Bulb 9W. I wanted to be able to set or dim the bedroom table lamp lights from a remote control versus nearly falling out of bed to reach for and turn on and off the table lamps on both sides of the bed. Also, the dimming feature was a must. Now the big box and other local stores all carry the compatible bulbs I was looking for but only in 3000K or 5000K temperature ratings. But there is a dramatic difference between the two temperatures as I found out after buying and trying those. The 3000K temp lights are very yellow. The 5000K temp lights are quite blue. So, if you want yellow or blue light, they got ya covered. For what ever reason though, they don't sell a 4000K temperature light which is the perfect neutral lighting and you will be hard pressed to find one online as well, that dims. No idea why this is but finally I found these LUXRITE bulbs and they met all my criteria, they were the right size, they dim, they are 4000K temperature and they come in a 60 watt equivalent LED bulb! So, I was thrilled when they arrived so quickly! I ordered Thursday evening and they arrived Saturday afternoon! What! I know...that was amazingly fast! So, I opened the nicely packaged light bulbs and put them in the lamps. The color was this gorgeous true neutral light. Not too warm and not too cool :-). Unfortunately, when I dimmed them down using my new Wireless plug-in dimmer and remote bought elsewhere, the lights began to flicker which was a deal breaker. So, I wrote my first review explaining the issue and packaged them up to send back and got back on line to find the elusive bulbs from the brand names that the company that sells the dimmer remote, specified are compatible. None sold were in the 4000K temperature rating. None! So, I googled the flickering issue and found a video that walked me thru the fix. It turns out there is a tuning dial on the plug in fixture (again, purchased elsewhere) that I was able to adjust, that fixed the issue. It's a go around but works for me. Regardless, I now LOVE the bulbs again and there is no flickering! I cancelled my return naturally :-). HIGHLY recommend the LUXRITE bulbs now, as the color of this light is gorgeous in the 4000K temperature rating, price was excellent and shipping SUPER FAST!

OK, not gonna lie. These are the best bulbs I've bought ever.! I changed all the bulbs in my apartment to these bulbs. They are beautiful bright they come right on as soon as you turn on the switch love these!

I was trying to mach the dimable Phillips bulbs I had to replace one that burnt out. Not even close to match even though they were the same spces and make. So, I bought 6 new Phillip bulbs and they wouldn't dim low without some flickering, returned them. I then purchased 6 new LUXRITE dimable bulbs. Big difference, much brighter and no flickering when dimming. Just wish they dimmed a bit more before shutting down, but so far they're working fine.

For some reason I was only expecting to get five bulbs but instead I got six! Sometimes life just skips the middleman and gives you lemonade, you know?
