Do I need to buy additional parts for this to work? ( additional wires, screws, covers, etc)

No additional parts, just be sure to disconnect battery before taking airbag off, then replace old w new & plug it it.

My 2006 Toyota tacoma did not come with cruise control will this work with my tacoma?

I installed one on my 2015 tacoma and it works perfect

Does it include the cover?

No you need to drill out the existing cover plate with 1.5 inch drill bit
