Comprehensive kit that made a big difference to the brew
The kit was comprehensive, to fit this you need to strip the machine down so take time to educate yourself about how to do that , youtube is helpful here . Cleaning is also important as you are putting new seals in you need to clean away the years of coffee build up so allow plenty of time . the strip down , clean and rebuild on my machine took around 2 hours which included checking on the correct way to strip and rebuild the brew chamber. Don’t be stingy on the silicon lube of the moving parts on the rebuild as you will notice this when the parts all start moving / rubbing against each other . The part fitted well (use a fine hooked implement to remove some of the seals) and there was plenty of silicon lube to be generous in its use . After the work the machine performed far better , quieter and produced better coffee , it was the first time I had done this on that particular machine which was a well-used 7 year old De’Longhi Magnifica 4200
