works great
Had my pool replastered and the company used returns that were adjustable but only to about 45 degrees. Which didn't send the floating leaves to the skimmer, just sent them to the center of the pool. The original returns sent the water at a 90 degree along the side of the pool to the skimmers. It took a while but I found these and they do the job perfectly. The new returns, also corrected the problem where the returns had 3/4" hole and I didn't have any back pressure so the water didn't move like it should. These work great.

Does not slip fit 1.5” PVC
If your plan is to use these as slip fits for seasonal pool use (where you still have to remove them to close the pool), then these will not work. They appear to be designed to glue in place, and don’t have the bubble fittings that all other slip fittings have.

Not the same as the “bubble” style slips. Must be glued!
Purchased these to replace the broken pool inlet directionals. These inlets have to be glued in to stay in as opposed to the “bubbles style inlets that are hammer in. The water pressure will blow these back out. What I don’t like about gluing these in is that if they break, and the inlet directionals cannot be found to replace them, then you are going to have a hell of a time getting these off to put in new ones. May consider converting to threaded ones
