These shelves worked for what I needed and I think the brackets are really nice. I have them next to each other and they do not meet up in the middle exactly, so I would take off half a star if that were possible. They are sturdy and working for what I needed, which is mostly framed pictures and knickknacks. I do like the color of them. They go with the mix of brown and black items in the room.

Simple and superb engineering. One of the shelves was warped slightly. However was simple enough to mount it to the brackets on the reverse side for a few weeks to straighten the slight downward curve. Not really noticeable unless you check with a level. Definitely will purchase more.

I needed a better way to organize my sneakers, so I searched on Amazon for solutions. I looked through endless pages of shoe racks, wall hanging shoe racks, sneaker displays and wall mounted shelves. I finally settled on these because they were 31" long and I needed something to fit on a 34" wall. They're also 8" in depth which was important for my use because my shoes are about 10"-11" in length.Before I installed these, I bought a magnet pop device which tells you where there are nails/screws in the wall (super cheap on Amazon). This means you can locate where the studs are. After finding them and seeing where there were two electrical points of entry in the wall (in the picture you can see one of them), I measured a vertical and horizontal block from those two positions to avoid screwing in the cabinets in those areas. You DO NOT want to screw in 1 and 1/2" screws into areas where there may be pipes or electrical wires, so make sure you mark these areas off before installing!The studs were too close to these electrical points, so I decided to do the drywall only installation away from electrical vertical and horizontal blocks. Note that the instructions provide 3 different versions of installation depending on where you're installing in the wall. Super helpful!I measured 4 times for every hole marked and used a leveler. I used the drywall plastic anchors provided and the packaging even came with gloves! The gloves were really thin but I used them anyway since I didn't have anything else on hand at the moment. Make sure you use gloves while installing as it can reduce getting a bad shock if you accidentally hit an electrical wire.After everything was up and I put my shoes on it, there was no give in the middle! It worked out perfectly for what I needed them for. All I used was a screwdriver, a leveler and a tape measurer. You do not need a mallet and an electric drill like the instructions say. Yes, it will make things faster but you can use the screwdriver if you don't have those items like me. Also, screwing the screws and anchors in by hand has an advantage because if you hit something other than drywall, you will know since it will feel different after a few centimeters. I put mine in just drywall but if you're putting yours in the studs, then you will need a drill.All and all, I am very happy with the end product! With the screws inside of the anchors and no weight give in the middle, I feel very confident in the shelves' longevity. Highly recommend!

Great shelves. Solid, well-made, and fairly easy to install. Took away 1 star because removing the 8 ridiculously-difficult-to-remove stickers took longer than hanging the shelves themselves. Had to resort to WD40 and a razor blade.

Large & spacious!

Helps with space. I have no cabinets in my small kitchen. So they help with space.
